tl;dr:
Downloaded the game to try it out. After playing way too much i realized how much i played and how much fun i had so i bought it XD

Longer:
- Basically Nioh 1 with many improvements.
- The burn on the difficulty is very slow. I found the game very easy for the first 10-15 hours-ish but it's fine since there is a lot of mechanics to learn and master. But than the difficulty really ramps up and you need to mix everything you learned and practiced or you'll die quickly. I'd say for many it would be scary and maybe even annoying but i like that, the game became very satisfying for me now.
- The great variety of enemies both human and yokai reinforces it as the game has lots of different combination to throw at you and it forces you to think of different tactics.
- Friggin great yokai designs!!
- Those together make the gameplay itself varied as using the same build just won't work. You need to think about you weapon/yokai/ninja/shaman abilities and how to combo them. So fun!
- The MP is quite basic but overall quite fun. That being said i still haven't played much so i don't know if it will hold. What i DO like is that even with bad ping you can play it together without much problem so you don't have to have a good internet connection.
- I also like that the rewards from the MP don't break the game.
- The story is very nice as well. The mix of real history with the world of Nioh is written well, and especially better than in Nioh 1. I'm actually invested in the story and what will happen to the characters!!

Highly recommended game. Whatever you played N1 or not.

The bad: Grind starts here and only gets more grindy in NG++.
The good: Starting in NG+ enemies have more stats but also more attacks and combos. New enemies and placements. You MUST put to use tactics and combos. Again increases in NG++ where you need to design builds to win, it gets REALLY challenging.

While i don't like the grind very much, if you do it's a bonus for you. But it still not bad enough to take away from this absolutely fantastic game. BUY IT.

Also the MP is really fun.
