I have never come across a game that has so thoroughly convinced me of it's worldbuilding. So easily pulled me into the loop of playing it and not even knowing why. But simultaneously, I do not how I feel about it.

This game is very good. Of that I am sure. Not everyone will enjoy it the same way. And that is intentional, as it has always been, and all the Souls games have been before it. But this game specifically has been made to accommodate players from all walks of life, accounting for input and feedback given from the previous games. This game is both a dark souls game, but it is also a traditional open world RPG, above and beyond the extent of anything you expect. And if anything blew my mind, it was the extent to which FromSoftware incorporated the open world aspect into this game.

The game is big.
Very big.
and then bigger again.
and then bigger again.

I was previously playing because I enjoyed Dark Souls.

Now I am playing because I love Elden Ring.
