ORIGINAL REVIEW -- As everyone knows by now ... the game needs alot of work.

That will need to come in the form of stability / optimisation patches and content updates.

MY SYSTEM SPEC .
I7 7700k ( 4.8ghz )
Rog ryuijin 360 AIO
32GB ram
Strix 1080ti

The game is running pretty much low everything besides the crowds which are high and the FOV at 100.
This is getting me late 50s to 63 fps
It does feel alot better than it first did !

Soo anyways performance aside...

At its core Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game (yes even at this stage).
But lets not forget all that was promised to us in the long lead up during the hype campaign.

We saw things like -
Parkour
(well at the very least Wallrunning)
Vehicle Customization
The Flathead Bot (companion)
Usable trains (instead of fast travel)
Third Person cutscenes

The list probably goes beyond that but these were some staple things from the lead up.

The Cyberpunk world is breathtaking ( HA .. i said the thing )

The sheer verticality of the environment combined with the mix of neon and leather leaves you craving more which is where the immersion starts to shatter.
Roaming around the world the NPCs look amazing but they are little more than human husks with a one liner clipped to them.
There is very little if any actual reason for them besides adding to the feel of the city ... we went into this expecting a deep immersive world where the npcs would have juicy dialog trees annnnnnnd thats just not the case ... that is for the pedestrians.
Important NPCs say those in a questline. Have a very satisfying amount of options to talk your way through.

The Npcs on the street also are highly randomised
(think Borderlands weapon level of random)
I first noticed this upon loading after death ...
Before my lead ridden demise i had saved the game infront of a alternative lady with a picket sign which read the end is near.
But once i had re loaded this was now a very rough looking gentleman with some facial mods. He did have the same sign however.
This alone made the world feel alittle bland.. These people aren't special .. that corner was that ladys to protest.
She was just randomly generated ai character with no background.

Sticking with the Npc side of things... They have some of the most amazing clothing and im yet to see any of that stuff in shop ( yes its minor but its important ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ )
The Npc ai sucks sgt major balls !
Pedestrians are clumsy and even dissappear.
The random "enemys" you bump into and tear your way through are uninspiring and bland to fight.... all of that is before we mention the police and how they spawn in around you.
Like one door to a room which im facing and some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ will spawn in behind me lmao.

Alot of the world (AT PRESENT)
Feels little more than eye candy.
With alot of doors reading locked.
Yes some require skills/ level requirements which it will tell you about upon interacting but from the beginning there are alot of shut off buildings that simply cannot be explored.
Nightclubs actually have the interiors fully moddled and animated yet the bouncer stands infront of the locked door (youtube has vids on how to enter)
Yes these doors could be locked from me until i get to the late game but i doubt it.

There is so much potential here for CDPR to flesh the world out that smidge more and to polish and build upon what they already have.

Outside of questing theres little to do besides slaughter random pockets of enemys for Eddies ( money ) and peruse the city for hidden goodies and chances to gain xp.

The Xp trees are detailed enough offering us a reason to grind alittle for the small damage bonuses and other useful perks.

I cannot wait to see where the team takes it and i feel so bad for the stick they're getting. Especially if it was a case of the big wigs pushing to get that holiday cash.

Go in with an open mind ...

Enjoy the amazing story and characters ...

Soak up all the details that are currently present..

For performance woes ..
Reddit // youtube have a few solutions and work arounds that may or may not help you.

Support the Devs as this game is going to be a 10/10 ......... someday
