UI sucks (fairly standard for monster hunter but they've had 2 years since rise and 7 years since world to fix it). The game looks incredibly ugly, and the story is paced terribly

Perfect balance between chill vibes and needing a spreadsheet in order to play optimally

Very steep learning curve but if you're good at multitasking (keeping on top of hundreds of items being constantly depleted and managing happiness and stress levels as well as making sure everyone's adequately trained and equipped) the complexity of this game will keep you entertained for a very long time

Really fun fishing game. Horror aspects aren't as strong as I would've thought going into it, but otherwise between the story and the environments and the fun mechanics I can strongly recommend this game when it goes on sale (this is roughly a 10 hour game)

While the combat is really good (similar to Doom 2016) it's substantially weighed down by a large amount of platforming and puzzles, neither of which work particularly well given how the character controls and what the target demographic of this game is. The upgrade system is also very complicated and only gives incremental upgrades. The fights are very fun but there's too much boring or frustrating content in between them for it to be a game I could recommend over better fast-paced shooters like Ultrakill or even Doom 2016

Probably the best game in the Killing Things genre: amazing soundtrack, the most fun movement mechanics I've seen in a game, beautiful setting and lore, and straying off the path of a level will probably give you a fun easter egg of some sort (shoutout to 5-S). Levels can be replayed a few times because first time ultrakilling your way through a level you'll definitely miss all the secrets and challenges, and P-ranking is fun. And I've sunk best part of 100 hours into the cyber grind (infinite waves of progressively harder enemies)

Only complaints are that 1-4 and P-2 are quite harsh difficulty spikes compared to the rest of the game before it, and that some of the weapons aren't balanced (the alternate marksman revolver and screwdriver railcannon are kinda useless imo), other than that literally cannot recommend this game enough

Terraria is 2d minecraft XD

Graphics are good for 16-bit. The music is servicable and this can DEFINATELY run on your computer. you can play easily with your friends and you can make your own little games on a world.

The gameplay: take minecraft, make its workd finite, cut out the 3rd dimension, remove creative mode, add tons of bosses, make mining enjoyable, add more challenge, make late game fun, add creativity and make it support landscaping projects more. The way you do things in terraria is like a checklist, "explore your map, get some wood, make temp houses, go down the mine, get full gold, fight eye of cthulhu, etc etc) and thats something that can't be fixed, but is a bit annoying

Get this game if you like sandboxes, and spending almost 300 hours battling with yourself to not download a completed world and claim you did it

Unturned is a classic zombie survival game. It follows you, one of the last people alive after a zombie apocalypse, as you kill zombies, loot towns, build houses and raid military bases

For the people who don't care about the gameplay: the graphics are 64-bit, but can be good if your computer isn't run on lemons like mine is. The sound quality is alright, this game can run on anything. Multiplayer and arena mode exist and setting up a lan server can be done by a simple google search

Gameplay: if your looking for something really realistic, look somewhere else, as key parts of what would happen (like military saturation bombing, factory explosions, fires and anarchy) aren't seen. You have a limited amount of control on your surroundings and staying in cities is the tactic. But the gameplay is fun. Especially late game with mowing down hordes of zombies with a military death machine. The skill system is a crucial part to surviving. The maps are well designed, and the crafting tree is very in depth

The dlc: premium servers, a few item skins, and a coloured name, way too much

I would recommend this game just because of the replayability and the endless well of mods, this game never gets old, but there are certainly flaws

UBERMOSH (for those who don't know) is a 90 second arcade style arena with you playing as a blade saint on an alien planet, the 5th installment in the series (with the very original and imaginative name vol 5) is both the hardest and the most enjoyable. The graphics are what you expect from a game in this genre, and the OST is one of the best in video game history.

This version has the most going on, with you being the most overpowered in any game, and the same being said for your enemies, this is an open field one. On top of the brainclap system from black, and the manastrike system from wraith, you now have another system, either ANOTHER death beam or a shield. The shield is a waste of time to me but you might find it useful. The death beam is slightly worse of a screen clearer than brainclap, but still helps in a sticky situation. The system of having that green arm thingy i haven't noticed in combat, but i'm sure it helps with the guns, the enemies are slightly harder but so is the protagonist to make up for it

I have a few complaints though. There should be a way to turn the sound down, as it can be a bit loud at times. and i never know when a brainclap, manastrike, or whatever the new thing is called will activate, so countdowns would be nice. and i would also like the option to toggle between open field combat and the thing from the first 2 games. Multiplayer would be a nice feature in future games as well as maybe a campaign story later on (because the whole idea of the blade saint and the desert of ulta-kaan is a brilliant idea).

In closing, get this game, its not perfect, but its the most fun and the most chaotic, which is the spirit of ubermosh. also i feel bad because i bought the ulta-kaan collection when it was on sale for £0.95.
