I normally do not write any reviews or have the time to, but after 10 hours playing Kingdom: New Lands I decided to give this whole thing a try.

First I have to say It´s a athmospheric, time consuming, minimalistic game.

Everyone that likes to build a perfect routine to win a game after loss and loss and loss can buy this game right away, for every other player that likes to take action based on RNG effects or other random factors, this is not a game for you.

I´ll tell you why, I played this game for 10 hours in just 2 Days! That alone as a casual player means, this game is heavily addictive. Why ? Because you want to get better, after your first defeat you think like: "Okay I lost because of X and or Y, I´ll have to do It better now lets do It again" after the second loss you learned something new again and use It to your advantage, third game "Now I know how to generate a ton of money and will give them enemys hell" and so on and on, but after that learn curve what maybe takes like 6 hours and a little bit of reading in the wiki fandom or thinking by yourself, Its always the same over and over, yes the soundtrack the minimalistic graphics the awesome night and day cycle the Bloodmoon that occurs the music when the enemys attacking is very nice and breathtaking for such a "small" game, but the big BUT is coming:

After some Time you learn that the "KI" in this game is not the polished one, archers are attacking rabbits at night (they should be in the castle defending our walls) and because of that, they get killed when you dont want to spend all your coins to distract the monsters, the builders somehow are very funny buggily, they should transport the Ship to the other side, somehow they run aaaaaaaall the way back to the base and at night they run back to the ship, of course the monsters wreck them leaving nothing but frustation because It takes a lot of time for them to get back to the base equip the hammer, running back. In that time three other workers had passed away and are running back miles to the castle.

Its very heavely micro management dependent and when you get no bugs and no workers that do not listen to your commands for ex. building a wall right before the ship, you could really enjoy this game for some hours every now and then.

So I´ll recommend this game by Its beautiful art, soundtrack and the fact for players that want to become better and better every time like any roguelike game. I would not recommend It for players that are easily frustrated by bugs or don´t want to put the time in to learn the factors of the game yes Its minimalistic but thats why It needs time to perfect It.

Could be an overall better game with a better KI or an extra action to command some people.
