I just finished this game after having it in my backlog for quite a long time and honestly part of me wished I didn't play this game at all because of how much I love F.E.A.R and F.E.A.R. 2. Don't play this if you loved the previous F.E.A.R. games, which sucks to say, but this is not the experience you'd want for a sequel.

Performance/graphics:
Performance is ok in the sense that I was able to play at 120fps most of the time, but did have dips on occasion, There aren't as many graphics options compared to the first two games, but there are still some. What really bothered me was the forced Motion Blur the game had and the only way to turn it off is via an options.cfg in the game's local folders. Not too big of an inconvenience, but definitely something they should have added in the game's options menus especially when it was toggable in the previous two games. Graphics themselves are ok, still good looking, but honestly F.E.A.R. 2 looks way better, at leas to me.

Combat:
F.E.A.R. 3's combat is 100% different compared to the first two. Obviously they're all FPS games, but the actual weapon combat(aiming, weapon firing/response, etc.) is completely different and I don't think it was for the better. You're limited to only two weapons at a time, no medkits/armor pickups(regenerative health), but there is still slow-mo and vehicles in the game. Also there are still around the same amount of weapon variation in the game compared to the first two, but you're just limited to only two at a time which I think is a huge negative, but might be because of the co-op mode the game has, so to balance it out.

Atmosphere:
Still "scary", but compared to the first two games F.E.A.R. 3 is more action than horror and that's bad. I'm not sure if it was because of the co-op addition so they couldn't account for player positioning for jumpscares or scene build ups correctly, but the games are suppose to be scary, but this game probably only scared me once out of the four hours I played it.

Story:
I appreciate the closure the game has given me for wanting more after completely F.E.A.R. 2, but I wish I didn't experience this closure exactly. The game has two endings, one considered "Good" and one "Bad", but I'd say both are pretty bad. I won't post spoilers, but if you love F.E.A.R and F.E.A.R. 2, don't play this.

Price:
This game is not worth $19.99, not even close to that. I got it for $4.99 a while back and that's honestly all I would feel comfortable paying.

"LEGO® Star Wars™ - The Complete Saga" is basically as the name implies, it's a Lego game that contains the saga of Star Wars, well until Episode VII just released haha.

This game features a hub world where you first start and includes all 6 Episodes and within each Episode there are six Missions and one/two Bonus missions. Only Episode 1 is unlocked in the beginning, but if you complete the first mission you'll unlock all the other Episodes. So if you don't like the prequels just do the first mission and then skip the rest and jump straight into Episode 4. There is also a "Gold" bonus area that has extra content to do if you get all Gold blocks in the game.

You're not going to find voice acting in this game unless it's the droid sounds, so there is little to none of the political scenes from the movies(at least so far in Episode 1). If you're looking for pretty much an all action version of Star Wars this is the game to get that experience. However there are some missing scenes from the movie that I would have liked to see in this game like the underwater ship in Episode 1 is skipped when that could have been part of a mission for more collectibles/blocks. There is also no space scene with Anakin when he's in the N-1 which I thought could have been a cool addition. The pod racing is included however. So very mixed so far in Episode 1 of what scenes you'd expect to see. Probably more missing scenes like this in the later Episodes.

As for performance I'm getting 60fps 100% of the time in-game at 1920x1080, but when there's cutscenes I've noticed there are framedrops occuring but they come back to 60fps. So a bit stuttering when in cutscenes. Not sure what the cause is, but it isn't that big of a deal to me since I'm just watching and not playing.

Controller support does feel perfect in the game, I don't have the time currently to find a local co-op partner and test two controllers plugged in, but I'm assuming it works fine. If it doesn't I'll update my review and make note of it.

So far I'm very happy with the game. I used to play Lego games a long time ago on my original Xbox back when it was split into two parts and this Complete Saga on PC plays exactly how I remember it years ago. I'd say it's worth $19.99 if you know you're going to be playing this and wanting to collect everything and it's 100% a for sure purchase at $5.99 on sale even if you're just going to casually run through it.

I recently finished this game after having it in my backlog for quite a while, definitely wish I played this right after finishing the first instead of waiting.

Performance/graphics:
At this point you probably have hardware moden enough to max this game out and play at 60fps stable(or higher) without frame drops. There are tons of options for video/advanced settings and also has settings like headbobbing available. Graphics wise it's very similar to the first but definitely updated. If you got through F.E.A.R.'s graphics then you'll definitely appreciate F.E.A.R. 2's graphics.

Extra content/DLC:
The "Reborn DLC" is just more backstory, not exactly related to F.E.A.R. 2 in the slightest. Definitely worth picking up if you can get it on sale with F.E.A.R. 2, but not needed to enjoy the main story.

Combat:
Pretty much exactly like the first. Fluid weapon combat, four weapon slots, multiple grenade types to switch between, slow-mo(bullet time), but now you can commandeer vehicles! I found vehicle combat to be a very nice addition to the game and definitely made the game feel more open and expanded.

Atmosphere:
Same as the first, great horror aspect and definitely a no lights, middle of the night, wear headphones experience. There are a bit of jumpscares/scenes that will make you react even if you're expecting it.

Story:
Continues on from the main story of the first F.E.A.R., so if you enjoyed F.E.A.R. then I can 100% recommend F.E.A.R. 2 based on the story alone.

Price:
I picked up F.E.A.R. 2 for $3.74 and the Reborn DLC for $2.50. F.E.A.R. 2 is worth it for $14.99, but if you're a bit on edge totally wait for it to be $9.99 and definitely pick it up at $4.99 or less. The DLC I would wait for it to be $4.99 or less, it adds a bit more backstory, but not enough to warrant a $9.99 price point in my opinion.

I have never played F.E.A.R. before, but when I saw the game for $2.50 a while back I had to pick it up and put it in my backlog. Now that I've completed the series I'm writing reviews for each game.

Performance/Graphics:
Tons of video/advanced options available and the game is not intensive at all with current hardware. You'll more than likely be able to crank this game to 11 and enjoy it at butter smooth 60fps(or higher) with no drops whatsoever. Of course the graphics are dated at this point, but for a game that is over 10 years old at this point it holds up pretty well.

Extra Content/DLC:
The extra content is "worth it" if you end up liking the game and want more backstory. Technically the extra content isn't "canon" so if you're looking for more canon backstory then don't bother, but if you just want more to play then go for it. I personally did not play the DLC so I can't comment on them performance/combat wise, but I did read the wiki about the plot for them and I'd say they're both great additions.

Combat:
The game itself has very good weapon mechanics and varying weapon choices, also it has armor and health management, so use your medkits wisely and look for armor pickups when needed! You can hold four weapons at once and various grenade types. Fighting is fluid and the slow-mo(bullet time) the game features is a nice touch and it really helps when things start getting hectic, or if you want to see explosions in slow motion.

Atmosphere:
There is a horror atmosphere to the game and plenty of jumpscares/scenes that will make your heart skip a beat and body tense up. Definitely turn off the lights, put on a pair of headphones, and play at night to really make your skin crawl. Or don't and play in the middle of the day like a sissy, your choice not mine.

Story:
The story itself is interesting and definitely makes you wanting more. I'm not posting spoilers, but I can guarantee you this game has a great story behind it and is definitely worth a play.

Price:
Like I said I got this game and it's two DLC's for $2.50 a while back. For $9.99 I'd honestly consider woth picking up, at $4.99 definitelty pick it up, and if you see it for $2.50 you're definitely missing out big time if you don't buy it at this price point.

One of THE best games I have ever played. A great mix of puzzles/challenges with an amazing story, coupled with a good looking game and tons of options for video, audio, and even a dedicated "Motion Sickness" menu!

I wish I bought this sooner. It's definitely in my Top 10, probably even in my Top 5 of "Best Videogames of All Time".

Buy it. You won't regret it.

Trying CS2:
Really? No gungame? Zero community servers available?

So now I can only play Deathmatch to warm up? Or jump straight into Casual?

If the game isn't ready to be played by all, then don't release it to all.

I don't understand what is happening at Valve.

Post CS2 Release(Oct 3 @ 5:58pm):
I know CS2 is supposed to be an upgrade to CS:GO, however Valve should have delisted CS:GO(or restricted the CS:GO store page) and instead did a brand new store page for CS2.

Now reviews are skewed and the majority need to be updated to reflect the CS2 update.

I know there may have been difficulties with how skins are handled between products, but there must have been someway to separate the two games into their own separate store pages.

This is very bad form and very disappointed with how Valve has handled this.

Updated Review(Jan 29, 2016 @ 12:12am):
Valve has now made custom skins and models a bannable offense, so no more community servers for custom game modes.

I cannot recommend this game anymore. Valve continues to ♥♥♥♥ this game and its community over for seemingly no reason.

Valve doesn't care about Counter-Strike anymore. Don't buy this.

Outdated Review(Dec 22, 2015 @ 2:47pm):
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a great successor to my favorite game, Counter-Strike: Source. The game recieves frequent updates at least once a month that includes fixes and content. The matchmaking part of the game can be a hit or miss depending on how you interpret it. You can easily find a game in the Casual and Deathmatch sections, but be prepared to wait a bit to find a match in the Competitive section if you want to play on certain maps. Also it's highly recommended to play with a group of friends or a team when it comes to Competitive because the people in the matchmaking section have been known to be quite toxic.

However, if you're not into Competitive/Casual, there are Community Servers you can find via the Server Browser menu that have quite a few gamemodes you can join and play easily. There's anything from standard Deathmatch to Surf/RPG and Zombie servers. Communities on the non-Deathmatch servers are quite friendly and talkative, I personally play on the few Zombie Survival and Escape servers. tons of maps to vote on and the 50+ people(at least, server max is 64 players) on each server that are almost active 24/7 is great fun.

Here are the two Zombie Servers I play on;
Zombie Escape GFLClan: 216.52.148.47:27015 https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/216.52.148.47:27015/
Zombie Escape&Survival ScaClan: 192.223.30.102:27015 https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/192.223.30.102:27015/

If you can pick this game up for its usual sale discount of $7.49 USD, I highly recommend it. Even if you don't like matchmaking, the community servers are really tons of fun.

As a side note, if you're looking to pick this up to play on Community Servers like in the old CS:S days, don't bother. Most of those players and game modes have moved to Garry's Mod using CS:S's assets. So get Garry's Mod and CS:S instead.

I'll preface this by saying I haven't played this game at all, but the publisher, Digital Extremes, thought it'd be a good idea to take the email address I signed up with for Warframe and start spaming it with emails about Sword Coast Legends. The reason I believe they did this is because the game is crap and thought more people playing in the free weekend will make them want to buy it.

Cool, good idea, except I did NOT sign up for emails about this crap and I do not appreciate Digital Extremes using other mailing lists to spam people about their crappy new game.

That email spam alone makes me NEVER want to play this game.

Also this game looks like an exact rip-off of Gauntlet and Diablo, so go play those instead. Those games are made and published by companies that actually care about their fans unlike Digital Extremes.

Update February 1st, 2017;

So it's been a little over a year since I last played this. I got my refund on the $5 and I'm glad I did.

The game still has quite of a bit server lag to it. Not so much crashing anymore, but still crashes when I change my resolution. Since it's F2P now, there are cheaters absolutely everywhere. Like 100% guaranteed cheating. For example, people camping and instantly snapping 180 degrees to you when you turn around corners.

There are also optimization issues and a bit of input lag, even when playing 144Hz.

Honestly, if you're looking for a F2P online shooter then I suggest just playing Blacklight Retribution.

Old Review;

TL;DR: it crashes a lot, game doesn't feel smooth at all. Even though it's $5 I can't recommend it when it has so many issues.

I've never watched Ghost in the Shell so I can't comment on that side of this game.

For a FPS; the gunplay is crap, only three gamemodes, maps feel all the same, and honestly it feels that people are already cheating online. Instantly turning around to shoot me, instant headshots, knowing where I'm at(even when they don't have heat signature perk). I don't know if there is some online delay that is making me have a bad experience, but I don't have this issue with other games.

Other issues are; annoying videos I can't get rid of/mute, can't skip the 10-15 second long game intro screens, matchmaking issues when "diving in" with friends, lag, enemy character models clipping through walls, and the game seems to be quite crash happy for no reason. Loading into the game? CRASH. Oh you want to change your resolution? CRASH. Game ends and you're checking your stats? CRASH.

The only real upside to this game is that it's $5, but it's already reeking of potential microtransactions in the future. Really feels like this game will be a Blacklight Retribution 2.0 clone later on.

If you like Ghost in the Shell and you don't care about multiplayer quality then by all means buy it, but if you're coming in for the multiplayer aspect only then don't bother. Your $5+ can be better spent elsewhere. Hell you can get a better experience gunplay wise from Blacklight Retribution, Team Fortress 2, Warface, and Planetside 2, and these are all F2P games, which this game will also be F2P when it leaves Early Access, so if you do want to try this game wait until it fully releases.

Updated July 17th Review;
Game still hasn't improved when it comes to performance issues and consolitis. This might be the last Fallout game I buy when it comes to Bethesda development and I'm extremely weary about the next Elder Scrolls game.

I'd figure a big developer like Bethesda would have fixed the more glearing issues, but it appears they've sat on their butts and instead just made DLC that has created even more issues.

Really disappointed in you Bethesda.

Updated November 29th Review;
The game still feels like a huge improvement over Fallout 3 in damn near everything except the menus(dialogue wheel, settlement building) and some controls. You can tell this game suffers from "Consolitis" like its older brother Skyrim, but not as severe.

And there are still performance issues that are effecting quite a bit of people with all different kinds of hardware configurations, both on the AMD and Nvidia side, for example; huge FPS drops in dense areas that seem to be an issue with the DX11 API and drawcall limitations, so there's no way to fix this until Bethesda themselves do something about it and this is after only 1-2 updates from Bethesda(holidays probably slowing updates) themselves as well as driver updates and mods being released only being able to squeeze out a few more FPS here and there.

There are also issues with setting up any resolution that isn't 16:9 or 16:10. Of course there are mods to fix those issues, but having native support should be standard at this point. I mean if some random modder can fix 21:9 resolutions within a week of the game releasing without any official mod tools then Bethesda could have added 21:9 before release, they just decided not to.

All in all, if you don't mind working past the issues with mods/ini tweaks and you are a big Fallout 3 fan then this game is more than likely worth full price for you, but if you're new to Fallout and don't want to deal with issues then I'd recommend waiting to see how the game is when it's on sale during the 2016 Summer Sale.

Outdated November 9th Review;
If you enjoyed Fallout 3, then you'll fall in love with Fallout 4. Fallout 4 has expanded and improved many of the aspects that made Fallout 3 great. This game has so much potential and it feels as if I have barely scratched the surface in a mere 12 hours so far, I haven't even started the main story.

However, there are some issues in this game that will probably bother other Fallout fans. The dialogue wheel is a PITA to use, the menus in the game are very clunky(controllers were priority it seems), and I have a few performance issues where FPS will tank in big city areas no matter what graphics settings I use(my PC specs are on my profile), mainly the Diamond City area.

Again, it's an amazing game nonetheless and I highly recommend picking it up at the earliest convenience.

I bought this game at release, played for about 2-3 months, racked up ~240 hours playtime(most of it online), and then stopped playing since there was no more content to consume at the time.

Fast forward 3 months later, I logged into GTA Online to see what was new and I was greeted with a character transfer screen, I did so(didn't let me say no) and I was met with the character select screen where both my characters, one male level 65 and one female level ~30, both gone. I had lost my GTA Online characters. Went to support, was compensated $12 Million, one character was adjusted to level 65 and then was told I was SoL getting anything else. I spent at least $30 Million between cars, apartments, planes, boats, and military purchases. I lost all of my online progression and Rockstar does not have my characters backed up anywhere.

Rockstar's Support was great and had a great return rate with emails(within 1 day), but Rockstar sucks at making online systems. Really? No backups whatsoever to my characters that I litterally poured hundreds of hours into?

I will never buy a GTA game again after this and I cannot recommend this game to anyone.
