Payday 2 was a very fun game at release and has recieved numerous content updates for free as well as some sweet DLC every other month.

However, the game has recently introduced microtransactions, now I'm not entirely against this if it's strictly cosmetic, however the cosmetic items actually have stats on them. This game is now Pay2Win and I cannot support these developers anymore.

Do not buy this game. The developers have shown that they do not care about their loyal fans.

A great Bioshock installment. I wouldn't consider this part of the main Bioshock experience, but playing as a Big Daddy and seeing the behind the scenes of the Bioshock universe is interesting and fun.

However there are downsides to the game, mainly PC issues. I have experienced random crashing going into forced sequences and settings being changed when the game first boots up, mainly the audio setting for music and mouse sensitivity. Audio for music resets to default volume even though in the settings the volume is still at zero and same goes for mouse sensitivity, I have mine set to ~1.0, but the game feels like 0.0, really slow aiming. Of course you can readjust these and play as normal again, but it's an annoyance.

Also the game doesn't look as great as it could be. Higher resolution textures could go a long way, but now I'm just nitpicking.

Again, great game, but consider it a side-story to the series.

I am updating my review due to the changes Valve/Bethesda have made to the paid mod fiasco. Because of this recent event it has occurred to me that reviews of games should be about what the game itself offers and not what the community can/could offer.

So having said that, I cannot recommend Skyrim at full price because the game is full of bugs, issues, and reeks of being a blatant console port. There are glaring issues that still haven't been fixed for the past three and a half years the game has currently been available on both consoles and PC's, but of course the modding community has fixed these problems on PC.

However, the game at its core is great and is totally worth it at a discounted price, but keep in mind that the game isn't as fleshed out as recent installments in the past. Some people refer to this issue as "Consolitis", so if you're a fan of Morrowind and/or Oblivion you'll probably be disappointed with the vanilla Skyrim experience, but will be more than surprised with mod variety.

If you're a new player to the RPG genre and have never played a Elder Scrolls game before you'll definitely fall in love with this one, but be warned that trying to go back and playing the older Elder Scroll games might leave you with a bad taste in your mouth because of how dated those games are, so I'd recommend going back and trying to play Morrowind or Oblivion first so you can enjoy those great games and then come back and enjoy Skyrim.

Skyrim is an amazing game and is definitely worth the full amount and is a must buy at a discounted price, however due to recent events of Valve/Bethesda having the bright idea of allowing community made mods to be sold on the Steam Workshop has changed my view of the game entirely.

As of right now, I cannot recommend this game while the current Workshop system is in place. I also do not recommend buying other Bethesda games until this change has been reversed and mind you this is coming from a huge Bethesda fan that has been playing Bethesda games since Morrowind on the original Xbox.

I'd also like to note that this is not a "knee-jerk" reaction as some people like to claim. Since this system has been put in place some modders have shown their true colors of greed by refusing to update their "free" mods and other people stealing free mods from 3rd party sites and selling them on the Workshop while Valve/Bethesda turn a blind eye. Money has corrupted the modding community and Valve/Bethesda are to blame. Do not support this system as it only hurts the modding community and will more than likely hurt future games like TES:VI and Fallout 4.

So I had no idea a Ace Combat game was available for purchase on Steam until the free weekend on July 24th to July 27th. As a long time Ace Combat fan on consoles(mainly the Playstation and Xbox 360), I've gotta say, this is not a Ace Combat game, at least not what they used to be.

This is a simplified version of Ace Combat for CoD kiddies. I had more fun playing the HAWX series. If you want a fighter jet game with a craptastic story and everything given to you, then here it is, but if you want more of a fun experience, I'd say look at the HAWX series and War Thunder.

Would I recommend this game at all though? Yes, but even on the current sale of it being $5 USD, this game isn't worth even that. Dollar bin material is what this is.

Oh and I tried it with both my keyboard/mouse and my Logitech F310, both work fine, but the controling of the jet is abysmal. The game works great for the port that it is.

Very fast pace, no "Pay to Win" scenario, can easily conquer anyone with default weapons.

It's kinda hard to get into, skiing is hard at first but progressivley gets easier along the road. Higher level players do have better weapons and items but it doesn't make them any more OP over you.

I never thought I would ever play this game but for the 40+ hours I've already put into this game I'm just amazed by it. I ended up paying for some DLC, $20, not bad for some really good expansions but they are not necessary.

It's a F2P game, even if you don't pay to play you have so many options and missions to play it's almost never ending. Everyone, paying or not, everyone stops at level 30 but this isn't a limitation, you are the most over powered beast when you get to lvl 30 and have an excellent loadout.

If I were you, I would play this game and buy the Green Lantern DLC(Fight For Light) so you can create a villain or hero green/yellow lantern right off the bat.

10/10 One of THE BEST F2P MMOs I've EVER played!

Pros:
Is on sale for $5, an amazing game. I had a bit of a problem installing this baby and trying to get it to run. Through my experience the game is easily 9/10 just by playing the single player.

Cons:
I believe I was one out of the couple thousand that had trouble with this game, it would just crash upon start up and I had to completely reinstall windows to even get it work. It did work after the reinstallation but still, no other PC game has ever given me this much trouble. I spent 8 hours of my own time to try and figure it out.

The game does not have complete rebindable keys for keyboard use and it's main 3rd party joystick is the Xbox 360 controller, it is a console port from Xbox/Playstation, even if it is a console port it's still a great game.

8/10 Since it gave me so much hassle and Activision has no support for this game.
