This remake is a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Gameplay, exploration and puzzles have been improved from the original. There are more areas you can enter in this game than the original and there are even some details added that flesh out the characters even more. There are more scenes with Maria, including scenes in heaven's night that were sorely lacking in the original and a few extra scenes with Angela. You see cold breath from Eddie when he talks which symbolises the frozen world that he sees. Even in the abstract daddy fight, you do the entire fight in Angela's childhood home with signs of her abuse around the stage which is pretty cool. And Maria is more of a temptress whereas she didn't get as much screentime in the original. Of course, there are some performances in the original, that are overall better than the remake but overall, they did a very good job. And Toluca prison + labyrinth is just *chef's kiss*. Bloober team was even careful not to add anymore enemies despite what the original devs were saying because they knew the importance of the enemies according to James trauma.

I really did not expect at all for Bloober team to do as good of a job I did. The amount of care they put into this game shows how passionate they are about the franchise and how well they understand the lore of Silent Hill. This game is easily a 9/10.

Horror tcg game with somewhat similar rules to hearthstone with roguelike elements. Would recommend if you like roguelike card games.

I got this on sale for like $10, but for a full priced yu-gi-oh game, I was expecting voiceovers and actual duel arenas that match events of the anime. Plus all the music is just complete stock. Idk how big yu-gi-oh is these days but either it doesn't get as much sales as something like DBZ or Naruto or the company is just lazy. Also as someone who has only played the first gba game and is just getting back into this, there's so much crap to read on every card that it frustrates me a little bit.

All in all, the game is....ok. It has cards up to 2020. Gameplay-wise, it does its job. Just don't expect any effort to be put into this game beyond just playing the cards. I'd say the game is ok on sale but I would really not pay anything more than $10 for it.

Wish steam had a neutral recommendation for games like this. I can't say it's terrible though so I'm just going to give it a positive rating.

Excellent game. Wish people played online more often tho.

Game starts off bland but the story picks up heavily once you accept Kel's invitation to go out. It's fascinating to see the differences between the dream world and the real world. The game also makes you feel like you're going through your own memories and feeling nostalgic about a group of best friends you never had. And in the best ending, the game teaches you self acceptance and not to hate yourself, no matter what flaws you have or what sins you've committed in the past.

This is a game everyone should have the chance to experience at least once in their lifetime.

Honestly, I'm one of those scrubs who couldn't git gud at the contra games. Contra 3 and Hard Corps always handed my ass to me in the first level or so and the continues were limited. Not to mention that whenever you lost your lives in those games, you had to start all the way back to the beginning of the level. This made it more difficult to improve on parts you were struggling on before, such as on a mini-boss/boss that was always killing you, a section where you had to face multiple enemies before progressing, etc. This game has fixed that issue with having checkpoints where when you lose your lives and continue, you continue FROM that checkpoint instead of going all the way back to the beginning. You also have melee which helps when you have enemies from slightly above and below coming after you and dodge rolls. Oh and continues (at least in normal, I haven't played hardcore yet) are unlimited, so you can learn from your mistakes over time. I feel like this is contra with a lot of the flaws ironed out that persisted in the series. This is a lot more accessible compared the old contra games. Graphics look like peak Genesis and the soundtrack is bangin. Oh, and the mechs are pretty sweet. And the characters you unlock are fun too. One of them turns the game into Strider lol.

Online is down. Nobody knows when, or if, it's going to come back. It's still a good game playing solo but if you want to experience co-op, look for another game.

Why has god abandoned us?

I can't really put this game into words. Just buy it and play it yourself.
