Common Meanings of "+rep":
Good Player – If someone played well in a game, they might receive "+rep" as a sign of respect.
Friendly / Nice Person – Given to players who are helpful or friendly in chat.
Trusted Trader – In the Steam Community Market or item trading, "+rep" indicates that the person is trustworthy.
Good Teammate – If someone communicates well and plays cooperatively, they might get "+rep."
However, "+rep" does not have an official function on Steam—it’s purely a community-driven tradition. Some users even sell or trade "+rep" comments, but Valve does not officially recognize them as proof of trustworthiness.
I hope it helps
