Having a blast. There's a huge amount of flaws in the game, and there's even more questionable design decisions made on bethesda's part... but overall its a very solid title if you go into it expecting the normal weird game design of bethesda's rpgs.

That said - anyone who says they don't enjoy it, its not for them, or the game is bad - they totally have a point as well lol

Oh also - modding is basically a requirement imo. Things like StarUI are basic necessities to maintain sanity.

Tried to play the game multiple times but everytime I do I get horrid motion sickness. I'm not super prone to motion sickness in games but this one leaves me laying around in bed wanting to die lol... Devs don't seem to care much despite there being quite a few people complaining about it. If either headbob or motion blur gives you issues in game, avoid this one like the plague. Shame cause it seems fun.

Honestly... picked it up on a sale with a hope that one day it'd be good and had fairly low expectations going in... Fired it up a few weeks later (hadn't even tried it) and planned on playing an hour or two just to get a feel for it and ended up playing for almost 7 hours straight and being up way too late doing so haha. Incredibly solid base for a Day Z like survival game. Really looking forward to sinking a lot more time into this once the quests are added. Very happy with this so far.

A fun and chill survival experience, Drift feels like a relaxed version of voidtrain in space. It manages to strike, for me, the right balance between survival game grind and progression - that is to say I was able to always see what my next goal was, and how to work towards it, but it required a little back and forth in the way you expect from games in the genre.

At the moment it is quite light on content, but what is there is a very solid foundation and I'm looking forward to seeing what the game becomes over its life in early access. Try out the demo - if you like the demo, you will likely have a good time here :)

The game is super rough around the edges. The gunplay feels a bit weak, there's a LOT of small design things that irk me, and it feels like zero effort was spent on quality of life (maybe because early development). A lot of the systems need work, and overall the game feels like it doesn't respect the players time much.

That said - I'm having a blast... So... Greater than the sum of its parts I guess would be the title of this review haha. Its free so give it a go - I expect it will probably be dead in a few weeks but for now we all seem to be enjoying ourselves.

Honestly... I don't mind Vampire Survivors but this whole genre has never really clicked with me too much. But this game is amazing fun. Picked it up yesterday and looking forward to seeing the content expand - but its incredibly fun as it is now. Easy recommend.

Super enjoyable game that feels like a marriage of Atomicrops and Don't Starve but still manages to feel like its own thing. Its not very challenging, which may be a little disappointing to those who tend to play roguelikes, but its a lot of fun and manages to stay fun for the entire duration of the game. Looking forward to revisiting it after the early access period and replaying it all over again to see what is added, but even in its current state its a great game well worth the price of admission!

Absolutely loving this release. I played the ASCI version a few times but it never really "clicked" with me. Adding tile sets certainly helped but just navigating the menus and that was always a little more tedious than I wanted it to be. Now that there's an actual mouse interface and such, I'm having a blast.

It is worth noting that this game is far from complete - and a lot of people are running into issues with that. Which is fair. There's a bunch of bugs that may or may not completely annoy you and break your forts, there's a lot of things that aren't explained, etc. But if you don't mind some rough edges, there's no other game like this. Absolutely worth the price of entry to me, but if you are on the fence - try the classic version (which is still free) to get an idea of what you are in for :)

Fun little game that has no right charging as much as it does... because its free... and art deserves to earn money. So... like... yeah. Its cool :) I had a nice time
