Everyone knows terms like "Cthulhu" and the "Necronomicon". For my part I knew neither about the origin, nor about the works of H.P. Lovecraft.
In the game you play a detective and just like the game character, I have searched and collected more and more clues to understand what's going on on that island.
Of course Everyone should form their own opinion, but for me the mix of graphics and atmosphere, the chase for answers and conversations with the residents of the island was almost perfect.
There is even a skillsystem that you can use to direct how you search for clues. For example, you can try to achieve your goals with skills in psychology or with physical strength.
I have to admit there were moments in the gameplay that felt out of place. This is due to certain features that were not bad in themselves, but were used incorrectly or too little.

All in all, I recommend the game to everyone who wants to experience a gripping story and has a love for myths, atmosphere or Cthulhu.

Before I played the game I was a normal mortal being and now I can enlighten you heretics, so you don't go insane when Cthulhu wakes up. Go crazy now and don't wait, go ahead and buy the game.

I have to admit, Far Harbor and Nuka World are the best DLCs for the game, they're an incredible addition. I played the DLC without much preliminary information and must say that I was more than positively surprised. I don't know where to start.
Far Harbor adds an entire island to the gigantic fallout world. As we know it from the Commonwealth, it is a large area that allows you to explore anything. The island itself is not as big as the proper game world, but it's still a big piece, packed with different buildings, stories, quests, (and Call of Cthulhu vibes °^°) etc. If I mention the quests here, especially of those, there are more than enough on the island. Besides the new creatures of the Far Harbor Fog, there are (except the new Raider) 3 factions and as you might know from Fallout 4, you have to hit the fraction you belong to and ... well ... destroy the others? After all, it's up to you what you do. What particularly appealed to me about this expansion is the piece of Lore added. Especially on the subject of Far Harbor itself and the children of the atom. In short, I think it's sort of a duty for Fallout 4 fans to play the Far Harbor expansion.
(I'm not here to criticize the price, but as with all Fallouts DLCs, I recommend going to Steamkey sites, there you save a lot of money and can buy the Season Pass.)
