Amazing game. As a person who grew up playing boomer shooters like Quake, Shadow Warrior, Blood, DOOM and of course every other game like it, the combat in this game comes naturally.

Moving fast and switching through your weapon wheel are an absolute must to get anywhere just like its predecessors. I loved Doom 2016, but this especially hit the mark. Everything feels great and is fine tuned around each difficulty level.

The movement is fluid and you really never feel like you're in your own way via game physics. Also, Doom Eternal looks amazing. DLSS and Raytracing is a great plus for a game that is insanely well optimized and fun.

If you like shooters that feel like putting your brain in a blender after playing it for twelve hours in one sitting, then it's well worth it.
