A very well combined mix of different genres made into a single story-driven colony survival game.

Great visuals, well-written characters, engaging story and a variety of choices to make that lead to different outcomes made this an amazing experience for me. While some of the mechanics seemed tedious to me (like running around already explored map for certain tasks at hand or just to speed up time doing routine work), the pros of the game along with a great soundtrack and visual direction really made me forget about that. Every alter of yours has a character of their own which makes trying to get along with everyone (it is rarely possible) a fun job to do.

By the way, you are constantly reminded that you don't have the time in the universe to get your objecrives done - you have a time limit until the sun obliterates your base, so you have to make every day count. There were a couple of times where I had to crunch just to get my stuff done right before I would have lost to sunrise / base destruction, and accoplishing my objective felt really rewarding and fun.

The time and passion put into this project is clearly noticeable. It's been a while since I was spending hours and staying awake until early morning playing a videogame just to see what else it has in store for me. It is definitely not a game for everyone, I am not a fan of management games, but dev's approach to simplify chores to avoid making their game boring and forgettable to let the player focus more on the story (at least that's how I see it) sold it to me.

If you want to try something new and you love colony sims - this has something for everyone. One of a few games that I have ever wanted to see a DLC for. Great experience, may even run for all the endings.
Just because the main question of the project is: "What if...?"

Oh, and by the way, I finished it on steam deck. Never ever would I complain.

It's been forever since I last recommended anything, and this is the 2nd modern FPS game (1st being DOOM 2016) that I'd recommend playing the hell out of to anyone. Everything about this game is great, I don't remember last time I had this much fun. Even continuously dying during boss fights or regular combat sequences on Nightmare never made me mad even once. This is a fierce, lightning-fast combat experience, supported with a great as always soundtrack by Mick Gordon, which is also greatly optimised. I enjoyed every second of it.
I'm still trying to figure what is harder - the actual game on Nightmare or my pp during intense shooting action.
Marauders are fun
GO BUY IT

I haven't had this much fun in years, especially considering it's a singleplayer game. Last thing that ever got this close for me was DOOM (2016). Everything in this game rocks - from pace and gunplay to soundtrack (especially soundtrack). Even the level design is good. I can't find a thing that I haven't enjoyed about DUSK. User reviews don't lie.
It's worth every penny. Go get it.

Spent over 10 hours playing this with my friends (don't mind the playtime on my account, spent most of the time playing this on my friends's PC) and believe me, this game is an endless fun generator.
You may think it gets boring over time since there's nothing new to discover or to do but no. Original characters, cool power-ups, great levels (thank you based Steam Workshop), and addictive as hell gameplay. You polish your skills with every run and the more experienced you get, the more intense the battles between you and your friends get. And that's what makes this game fun. Many would say this is a pretty much skill-based game but the best thing about it is that skill doesn't matter here as long as one mistake / competent power-up (even the ones which some players may find useless) usage may change the situation completely.
Local versus mode makes it even more fun than it already is. We spent the whole night playing this game with my friends and just couldn't stop. I hope you'll like it just as we did.
If you need something to play with friends - get this without any hesitation. You won't regret it, ok?

Early Access Review
This game lets you watch the mankind die from ♥♥♥♥ like "flying penis", "feminism" or "french army", etc.
That's pretty much it.

Fun to play beat-em-up RPG platformer that features:
-truly wonderful soundtrack (from epic tunes performed by an orchestra to drum-n-bass and metal);
-neverending action (gets even better if you play with friends);
-good animations;
-TONS of humorous situations, references to movies, other videogames, etc;
-character levelling system;
Easily worth every penny.

This game is much deeper than you might've expected. Each level requires not just quick reaction from you but good planning, too. The gameplay highly depends on your tactics: you can be stealthy and avoid trouble or just grab the guns and turn hte level into one huge blood bath. Turned out there's a twisted storyline aswell and the further you get the deeper becomes the story. I can't recall myself playing any indie game with a plot like in this one. All this combined with a wonderful soundtrack that perfectly fits the atmosphere of the game provides an unforgettable experience. If you are still thinking of buying it - just go ahead and get it, I guearantee you will not regret it all all.

One of the best and the most detailed indie games I've ever played. You have to keep in mind tons of aspects just to keep your ship in a working condition and being able to proceed to further stages. Various locations can contain different events: from ships seeking for help and stores to hostile ships and anomalies. This game forces you to make choices all the time and each one affects the gameplay in different ways. Sometimes you get an additional crew member from an abandoned ship, or get trapped after trying to chase the enemy that tried to run away from the battle. All I have to say is that it takes a lot of coordination and strategy and it's one of the most difficult games to beat, at least for me. I've never been a fan of games like this but FTL is something special and it's definitely a breath of fresh in my opinion.
This is a really versatile game and you'll love it.
