Anti-cheat has no reason to exist in a social VR game, the developers have clearly ignored the community and doubled down on their decision to keep EAC. Their excuse was that it prevents crashers, but do not acknowledge that it's actually the avatars themselves crashing others, not the mods.

Majority of these mods are harmless, and in fact used to improve quality of life, increase optimization, minimize chance of crashing from crasher avatars, are mandatory for those in the disabled group, etc. All of these that the community have asked to add within the game natively for the past years, but clearly it still isn't even part of their plans to be added.

Many others are moving to ChilloutVR/NeosVR and have cancelled their VRC+, you probably should too. They have clarified that they won't revert the update, so as consumers we need to vote with our money/choice.
