Had all the cool maps and a massive roster. Even battle damage. A huge perk that Mortal Kombat X and 11 could not compete.

Gameplay for Left 4 Dead 2 feels very outdated and clunky in current year. It FEELS like it was made in 2009. Valve has long stopped updating this game with the last major update being a huge community update called "The Last Stand" which added some quality of life features and a once Left 4 Dead 1 exclusive Chapter.

But it is still very fun. Don't get me wrong. But for the best experience, I strongly recommend going to the steam workshop and packing this game with mods. Either to enhance or meme your experience.

A game everyone has.

But a game that the majority only have 15 hours in or less.

A mindless simulator game bound with no rules. A staple of an old era.

My entire town lost power shortly after playing with my friend for the night.

10/10 would lay restless in a pitch black room again.

It is a very fun and simple VR counter strike styled shooter with a nice little gore system. Highly recommended.

However

There is no snap turning (a tap version). So you find yourself spinning around and tangling yourself up in your headset cords and updates for the game are kinda slow but good when they do actually drop. There are some menu soft locks and no option to filter map by "installed".

The game itself is also starting to look and feel a bit outdated. But for what it's worth, it's fun.

You seriously gonna put ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EAC into a social game? Why? There is nothing to gain! Modders have created so much quality of life ♥♥♥♥ that you either refuse or don't allow to put into your game. The game is 99.5% community made so why not just let the community do what they want? No mods = no play!

This game allows for the best VR social interactions with models ranging from absolute meme ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to intensive several hundred MB top of the line ♥♥♥♥. There is a lot to see and experiment with several hundreds of worlds to explore

HOWEVER

This game is only enjoyable with good friends. At least, from my experience. Playing alone can leave a negative experience after taste. You find yourself getting pretty lonely. Especially if you have social anxiety. People in groups tend to just focus on their own little friend group. So, play with friends if you want an enjoyable experience. Me and friends just do private worlds together but that's just us.

Also, if you are a model maker, you cannot upload models with steam which is really dumb. So, make sure to make an account on their site and just launch through steam.

Overgrowth has always been an interesting game. I quite enjoyed the campaign and custom stories I played. Mods can really make this game shine more.

It has so much potential. So many great core mechanics are there. But the game does feel very, very lightweight. Little empty sometimes with its bursts of high action. As much as I wish this game was much, much more, It's still a fun and great experience with a wonderful soundtrack to go along with it.
