Better gun play than Doom 2016 and it feels more dangerous. Enemies were just bullet sponges in 2016, in 2020 they are here for your life. RIP AND TEAR, UNTIL IT IS DONE.

This game is hard. This game will make you force quit. This game is like a cocaine addiciton you can't shake but want to beat, and that's what makes it great.It will have you coming back after losing out thinking to yourself "if I had only..." "next time I want to..." and learning more through every mistake. It will have your pulse pounding and heart rate elevated due to the split second decisions that can make or break your entire journey. If you're up for a challenge and want to feel like a god when you succeed, buy this game.

Many, mant hours sunk into this game as a child. To thid day I contribute my love of mythology to this game. It's neat they have a guide in game where you can learn the background behind a lot you see. 10/10 would learn again.

The visuals are fantastic and concept is interesting, but gameplay could be tweaked to make this game much more enjoyable than it currently is. I bought this under the pretense that I would be able to pick "perks" for my creature as I leveled up and gathered pieces for the DNA tree. Instead the change is purely visual and picking only one feeding style (herbi/carni/omnivore) doesn't appear to have any major differences over the others. Another thing that annoyed me was that you couldn't be hurt or die. Being attacked by a larger creature simply makes you flee to a higher layer and is more of an annoyance than anything else. I never felt in any danger and overall the game felt too easy. Not a bad game by any means, but it could be much more exciting. 5/10.
