Too much RNG.
Some jokers are very hard to come by, and even if you get it, then it might be eother too late, you have no possibility to build around it or other jokers that combo with it won't show up in given seed.

Sometimes very frustrating that you don't get cards you need.

Sometimes simply broken - boss in ante has exactly the skill that counters your whole deck and you simply lose.

Overall game is glorious.

I really like the concept and enjoyed first few settlements. Ideas in general are nice, graphics are cool, whole scary forest thing is also nice. What I realized after closing 2 seals, when I couldn't close 3rd, because I was too slow (lacked 3 seals), is that it is not really a city builder. The goal of this game is not to build functioning village or making sure there are materials etc. This game is basically speedrun simulator.
After those 30h I have on record I went on sites other than wiki to read about strategies etc. and I realized, it is all about cheesing the victory as fast as possible, mostly using complex food mechanics.
You are not supposed to make planks/bricks/fabric constantly - youshould build just enough to build needed buildings. You are not supposed to give coats to your villagers when available. You are supposed to block usage of everything, barely making your villagers survive, just to make "final push" with resolve levels that will get you win - and then you leave the village forever. You should sell/buy everything that you don't need for that final push.

I consider possibility of winning without opening single glade as unacceptable (saw posts of people doing that on highest difficulty).
I consider possibility of winning in day 3 as unacceptable (saw posts of people doing that on highest difficulty).

If you are looking for making functioning cities it is not for you, trust me.
After I realized, this game is all about cheese and speedrunning, I don't even want to open it again. Consider if this is game for you (based on above) before buying it.

Game in general is good. You can sit back and explore some planets, gather some resources and chill.
What I don't like is those small things that you need to do:
Manage your fleets - can be done only in your freighter: in commander to send fleets but different place to finish missions. Repairing your fleet is stupid as well (you are teleported on the startship and you need to reach broken module).
Manage your town - can be done only there.
Manage your deposit: only in your base (but you have to find items, cannot build to automatically pick up needed things) or only in freighter (but also not everywhere).

Why you need to teleport to do anything? You are flying through galaxies, allow things to do remotely.

Also: this quest log is SO DAMN ANNOYING. When selecting quest it changed by itself to something different 3 times before I reached planet.

I really really hate fighthing system.
Some enemies are bypassing my frontline and go straight for squishies in the backline.
Some enemies randomly change targets and attack my rogue (after hitting tank for half the fight).

Formations and how characters are moving are so stupid. Very often there are situations, that my main tank (in formation in front of everyone) is lagging behind and then I encounter enemy appearing from fog of war and moving past characters disables and my tank is stuck in backline. Overall locations are very narrow and very often there are some obstacles that are invisible but cannot be passed, so my rogue is going all around to get to the enemy or because of the narrowes of the location, he is standing behind whole fight because he cannot pass that doorway (blocked by other characters and enemies).
Also: when your backline is targeted and instead of moving everyone back one-by-one you try to move few charactes at once, they go all over the place, often straight towards enemy that you try to run away (because of that stupid formation moving mentioned before).

Domination effect is TERRIBLE, nothing better when your tank is being dominated and all enemies go straight to all other characters.

Progression of characters is slow and honestly very dull. After like level 4 all classes gets basically the same skills/talents/spells so there is not much to choose.

I am also not enjoying uses per rest talents/spells. Because it was my 1st playthrough I never knew what is waiting next, so I was saving those skills.

1) Every enemy type is a copy-paste. Not even face changed for all those shield bearers or any other type.
2) Linear as hell. You cannot jump/crouch by yourself (only in scripted places), so there is not even slightest discovery available. Developers didn't want you to go there, so you cannot jump on na ankle-height stone. Simple. (only places you can discover are made on purpose and have those things to find for achievments)
3) Character progress is marginal and it is a lie. You can spend points or money on a leveling up some things, that gives 1% every level. 1 freaking % (I think except pilum loadout that gives +1)
4) Some enemies are doding 5-6 attacks like NEO. You attack fast and they are even breaking animations of 1 dodge to make another. So stupid, as this is something you can't control at all (there is no hit chance).
5) After like 1h every fight in the game (the only action you do) became one of 2 things:
a) 2 attacks -> shield attack on enemy -> 1-2 attacks (sometimes they blocked 2nd) -> shield attack on enemy -> 1 attack -> execution
b) 4 attacks -> execution
With of course occasional blocks from attacks from other enemy.

Worst offender, that I don't even want to list as a point, to make sure nobody miss it:
This game is very focused on precise timing of attacks/blocks and pressing appropriate keys to get actions done and to get more points (in executions for example), however it is so bad at it. Key presses are queued occasionally, which is super frustrating. Normal attacks interrupted by blocks are working fine, but if you get that enemy that you need to dodge then you need to wait for 2-3 attacks to finish before you can dodge - means you receive damage. I had it happening 100% of the time when there was at least 1 more enemy (except that one to doge). There is no problem when it's 1v1.

Graphic is really beatiful, but for this sole reason I don' even wamt to finish the game.

Levels are repetitive. All the time you are on the same few maps, just have to do different things or kill different type o enemies.
Weapon modding feels ♥♥♥♥. I have like 600 mods (at 50% of the game (did bounties tho).
Shooting feels nice, but I have a problem that every enemy is teleporting to you (or jumping on the roof etc.) so later on I just went melee all the time (except bosses) with occasional grenade right under me, if too many enemies were there at once.

And the main point: MELEE COMBAT FEELS SO ♥♥♥♥:
1) I cannot see nothing during action:
a) Stupid weather effects (like night + rain) gets textures of enemies hidden behind texture of rain
b) effects of elements (I had weapon enchanted with fire) made enemies hidden behind flames (and blood / bodies cut in half etc.)
c) Plants, walls and this kind of stuf - especially trees - enemy with ranged weapon went there and I couldn't see him
All those above made the melee fight in a way, that I was starring at minimap to see those red arrows and just navigated there.

Yo, there is no proper minimap, so sometimes it is hard to navigate on a map (before you get to know them) and sometimes you skip big boss that gives achievment and some weapon / legendary weapon mod.

At first, this game seems very overwhelming: different fatcions, different type of planets, set of actions, fights, type of AI ships, products, and so on and so on.
However, after a few hours you quickly realize, that after that fog of mystery and what seems to be complex mechanics, there is shallow gameplay that is quickly becoming tedious, repertitive and boring.

lets get few examples:
First missions are nice and fast, in the same zone, so you quickly complete them.
But after like first 5 contracts/missions you are forced to do 4+ jumps for everything, which takes long time. But it's not all. During your trip, you are encountering ships (I would say average is 2 per galactic) and 90% of them is "fight or lose reputation becaue you've chosen to retreat" - even thou I am on +3 rep with that faction (and don't want to go negative, because I am trying to get trade permit). What the ♥♥♥♥ is this? Why we just cannot easily pass each other, as we are both traders? Very rarely it is possible to travel by, most of the time it is "you were scanned by his scanners, you can leave but will get negative reputation".

Game is tagged as trading - thing is, ships have very limited cargo and you still have to have cabins, cannons, shields etc. which leaves you with VERY VERY limited cargo. My ship - bought for 2mil (with mass 8000 (I only saw 9000 being bigger)) - has only 60 cargo (previous ship had 35) - and I can't really take anything else to add cargo (because you need to have fuel cargo, crew cabins and then stuff for quests: jail, passenger cabin etc.).
In the 13h I did I didn't see an option to create fleets (transport ships + guards), so maybe this is solved later on 0 but I just don't want to discover it at this point.
So why even trade (as main action) - you complete 1 contract and get more credits than in 30 minutes of trading.

Fights: ship fights are so stupid. I was trying to get close asap to do boarding and fight with my crew. I don't know math behind it, but getting closer (or running away) mechanic is dumb. Example: we are on range 5, I spend my point to get closer and it fails, enemy tries to run and it also fails. And its happening 4 turns in a row.
Another example is: when we both get closer, coutner is not adding +2, only +1 to the range. I cannot understand it: when enemy is not moving and go move forward range is becoming +1 as well, so why it is not adding +2 when we both move closer to each other? Did I mention, that boarding also can be unsuccessfull? Without any notification as well. We are 1 range, enemy is not moving, I try to board - nothing, next turn starts. I think my longest fight took like 18 turns because of those stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RNG mechanics.
Crew fight are not better, 90% of talents are somd kind of buffs/debuffs. Thing is, my fight rarely get to turn 3 which is pointless to waste points on debuffs, it I can just kill enemy.

Maybe the game is something more later, I just don't want to try it.

There should be mixed opinion.

I don't like quest system and how it is handled, had games, where I couldn't finnish some quests (mainly rivers/rain tracks) because I did not get them offered, which caused my game to end.

Perfect placement system is also not in my liking.

However game is fine except those 2 above and I hope it will be altered in the future.

I have mixed feeling about this game.
It starts very well with easy levels, colorfull background and nice music, those rhytmic "puzzles" are short but interesting.

Then all those things above are becoming annoying. Music (especially in part 3 and 4) is so loud, yet in some cases I couldn't hear the rhytm. It is also not nice anymore. Music in parts 1-2 is really good, even if it's simple. But then it's really annyoing, I couldn't bear it.
Then colors become dark grey/green and it's not like a nice playground anymore.
Those platform puzzles are becoming very very precise (in a manner, that in some cases you were half a second too slow and you are dead).

Plus is, saves are very very often.

Game actually is a nice concept, but technical side requires a lot of polish.
I am already tired after encountering 2 gamebreaking bugs.
1) You character falls under playable area, you cannot move or do anything, all you can do is to retreat and then restart. It's fine when you just started, but I was near the end of the dungeon.
2) You cannot move at all. Same as #1: if it's early thats fine, but if it's late all you can do is to abandon and restart.

Other issues:
1) Moving is bad. I mean really bad. You want to move this hero in that specific spot during a fight, that happens to be between 2 enemies? Good luck trying to click exact field without either clicking enemy, selecting you other hero.
2) You are placed in a very small room and exit of that room is "hidden" behind your other heroes? Sometimes you need to click like 15 times to finally not select your other heroes, just move to that spot.
3) RNG or bad mechanics? It says in character screen, you have 60% accuracy, you go to fight, and sometimes during a fight (lets say 10 attacks), you are not hitting a single hit. Both: your and enemy stats asks for a lot.
4) Music is so loud. I have it on 3%, yet it's still louder than other things that I am running in the background at 100%.

This is riddicoulous.
