It is a fun little game for those that like to create and take their time doing things. While rushing to unlock stuff as fast as you can is a legit way to play, in the current version (Autumn Update) without a proper understanding of how important quality food is you will find that energy will be an issue. Unlike previous version where you can eat bush limes all day, this update needs you to progress the quality of your meals. The Stamina Update is really 2 updates. Energy management and food progression.

To those that are struggling with energy management
1. Stop hitting things before emptying out your bar - it will regen faster when you pause
2. If you don't have high quality foods, Cook your bush limes and bananas and eat those in the early game. cooking them doubles their regen capablility.
3. Get the fruits required to plant 9 apples, 9 bush limes, 9 bananas and 9 Quandongs so you can make fruit salads eating 3 of fruit salads will give you a massive regen buff in the early game.
4. Before crying about how the energy system sucks, make sure you give it a fair go. Maybe you just need more time to retrain that lizard brain to understand the new meta.

***100 hour Update***
So after 100 more hours of the Autumn Update under my belt I have some more to say and mention.

1. I really like the wishing well and what it can do. Adds nice customisation to your game.
2. The Stamina side of things is a non issue for me, I can mine in the deep mines non stop on a few bottles of wattle brew or cups of tea or a mixture of foods to maximise the buffs.
3. Healing is a lot slower and adds a sense of danger now. Gone is smashing down food to heal instantly now you need either the healing kit to give a bit of health instantly back. Drink Bottle Brew which speeds up the healing rate of food or you can choose death ;)
4. I can now fish all night during the "Late" time period without needing to eat anything make making dinks via fishing easier.
5. I love the new festival in Autumn, took a bit to get used to but it was fun and very pretty too.

I will update again once I have something else to say about Dinkum

A fun multiplayer PvE 3rd person shooter. Able to play as a single player but you miss out on some content and rewards by doing so. Grab 3 other friends or join some randoms and fight the enemies of Super Earth and spread Managed Democracy to the far reaches of space.

Personally I give this 8 Eagle Sweats of out of 10, but for the Super Earth ministry of propaganda I give it 10 Eagle Sweats out of 10

Note - The missions can get repetitive so it is recommended you don't try and binge on it as it will quickly spoil your experience

From the presentation, the story, the voice acting and the game-play, I LOVE this game. You can feel that the time and effort put into it came for a place of passion and that the developers vision had not been corrupted by corporate greed and the need to throw social commentary down our throats.

Sure you make a character that can identify and act who you want, bed who you want and so forth but that is because there is good writing behind it and it doesn't make it feel like your forced down that way. The characters feel alive and likeable and you want to travel with them instead of making your own party. This is again a sign of good writing, animating and voice acting.

I can harp on more about this but that takes me away from playing it so if you want a fantastic story driven CRPG experience with some limited open world exploration, a game that rewards creativity and preparedness which you can play with up to 3 of your friends if you wish, then get this game. IF you want to play something better than this, find a group of like minded people and play a real TTRPG.

Also it is confirmed, just like in my D&D table top game, everyone in the D&D universe is overly horny and needs to go to horny jail *fades to black*

Who doesn't like big robots punching on?

Sure I acknowledge there is hate for this game on other platforms and people are right to express their feelings on the matter, but i will keep my review based on what I have experienced on PC

I am not running a potato PC i7 10700k, RTX 2070 Super 32GB Ram but it is not top of the line either, I would call it the above average gaming PC and this game runs really well and looks fantastic on the default setting for my rig. I feel like I may be in the minority but Night City feels like a better city that Los Santos, It feel more alive and interesting. I would walk to missions just to see what was around, hidden in all the nooks and crannies.

Game play wise the shooting is solid and fun, the Hacking is an interesting mechanic and I am starting to get used to it and using more often. Weapons and armours stick to a dozen or so models, changing up the skins on them to make them not look like there is a limit number of weapons (mind you I am only in Act 2 so there may be more things along the way)

I really have no major issue with the PC version of the game, It runs smooth, only seen the odd graphical glitch such as floating coffee cups and T posing on occasion while driving very fast and the occasional bit of loot being unlootable. On reload I may need to hit ESC twice to refresh the screen setting as it leaves the black bars in place.

If your rig is recent I would recommend this, the story telling and game play make it worth it. I am just annoyed that life gets in the way of actually spending a good amount of time digging into Night City.

Soundtrack - 5/5 Top Notch, love it
Graphics - 5/5 Beautiful and striking
Game play - 4.5/5 Great and fun, bugs lower the score a little for breaking immersion

overall 5/5 - With the minor issues I have seen I cannot make myself not play this game. It is a work of art and something everyone should experience.

Build the space ship of your dreams then promptly crash it into the side of a planet cause you forgot to fill it up with Hydrogen. Build second ship of your dreams, get to space, build bigger ship of dreams, rinse and repeat.

Rimworld is one of those games you will keep going back to. Every game is different, and with the awesome content in the workshop and elsewhere you can create unique stories every time you play.

I have over 500 hours in Rimworld, as I had backed it back before the steam release a am glad I did. This will be one of those games that will never feel old.

Update

Game has been dead for a while as the Devs are Non communicative.

While I liked the idea of Mount and Blade with guns, the execution thus far has been terrible

Simple, entertaining and challenging
