Early Access Review
Three years later, and this game still doesn't work. Steam really needs to remove not only this game, but Snail Games from the their system. I've done some research, and they've consistently proven they can't finish games and are essentially a scam company. I know I'm not the only one thinking this, as well as there are plenty out there who enjoy this game and it actually runs for them, but they do not have a single game above mixed ratings. Very few of their games are even out of early access in a reasonable time if at all.

My review has nothing to do with gameplay, or PVE/PVP interactions. Why? Because my $1,500 laptop somehow can't load into the damn game. I even set up on the lowest graphical settings, just to get into the game for the first time, thinking it would work and from then on it would load more smoothly on more advanced graphical settings. I was mistaken. I can run over 100 mods and at ultra graphics in Skyrim SE, most of my mods being overhauls to textures, graphics and so on, so not light mods by any means. Yet I can't play an early access game at the lowest specs because it can't LOAD INTO THE GAME! This game is terribly optimized, it it were optimized better, I'd be playing it. Same issues I had with ARK. Never got to play the game, I spent 30 dollars and was never able to play the game, and wasn't allowed a refund even though the game is broken on an expensive, high end gaming laptop. Fair right? No it's not. Steam and this game are not worth the trouble anymore. No real support for the game, poorly optimized, no real knowledge from the devs in solving these issues. Not worth 30 dollars, not even worth it if it were free.

REMEMBER THIS IS A FREE, FREE, FREE, FREE, FREE, DLC. If you couldn't tell... it's FREE.

Played through it twice, on the two difficulties first available to you. Honestly, Not the biggest fan of it, but that's probably because it ends up playing more like RE5/6 than RE4/7. The horror element isn't really there, although it doesn't have to be I suppose. Overall, it's a simple shooter mini story following Chris Redfield. They did change how he looks a good bit, but now he is more like he originally was... not the Hulk anymore lol. It plays well, it's definitely worth playing, but it felt like it lacked a bit, and again, this is probably because it's like playing re5/6 again, without all of the joystick turning and the QE functinos. I had fun, but the enemies even on the mid-difficulty seemed too easy, beat the final boss in under 5 minutes each time. Wasn't bad at all though. I might be a little biased towards the traditional horror RE games over this style (re5, re6, UMBCORE, OPRC.

I think after nearly 100 hours of playing, I can safely review the game. First and foremost, if you prefer playing with other people, either make sure you have a group of friends who play or are fine with randomly hooking up with others online, Solo mode is fun enough, but it get's really boring sometimes.

Over all, this is well worth the price tag. Plenty of things to do in game, plenty of regions and weapons. Enough side missions to keep you busy for the most part. Now this isn't Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which is massive and you can get hundreds of hours of play without ever touching the main quest line in the game, but Wildlands is definitely fun. HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!!! THERE IS NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ JUMP BUTTON!!!!! Really the only major complaint I have about the game. It's an open world, over the shoulder shooter with RPG elements, whose game is similar in map set up as LoZ Breath of the Wilds, Horizon Zero Dawn, Skyrim and Borderlands. Except without a jump button. I've had to exit the game to the main menu and re-enter just to unstick myself where a JUMP BUTTON would've gotten me out, a lot too. I seriously will take 5 hours explaining why a 3-d openworld, NEXT GEN, RPG-esque game SHOULD HAVE A MOTHER LOVING JUMP BUTTON.

But anyways, gameplay, world, visuals, content, weaponry, they are all great, very well done. Another small issue, minus the usual complaints about enemies in either direction, and the vehicles being difficult to drive, is that the weapon selection, while large and nice, never really see's new weapons added into the game, except with set versions or some wepons which you don't get the pain skin they use and cannot customize them except maybe putting on a silencer. This and the lack of uniquely different weapons limits the types of players. You're either Long Range, Mid-Range (the all around player), or CQB with SMG's and shotty's, or "Heavy" gunner with a very small number of weapons that would be considered "Heavy" class. I believe you have 4 different shotguns and 5 or 6 different LMG's? while you have over 10 snipers, at least 20 Assault Rifles, and close to, if not more than, 20 SMG's. Only 2 or 3 full auto pistols, and maybe 10 pistols, minus special versions of weapons and DLC's which add some old fashioned weapons (Musket Rifle and Pistol being the most notable). So with all of this in mind, I'd say it is still worth the price tag, but it still lacks a lot of potential greatness.

The DLC's, I cannot really say much about since I haven't really gotten into them yet, but the Fallen Ghosts DLC adds the Fallen Ghosts campaign, and adds a couple new weapons (while removing a couple too) Like the PSG Sniper and a crossbow. Don't know why they just could add it into the base game, but o-well.

Overall, I would love to recommend this game. Maybe my issues are strictly my own with the game, and if so, it's definitely worth a look in the least. However. My controller doesn't work properly (tried 4 different controllers, constantly jump backwards and tried every known fix on the web), the tutorial tells me the incorrect buttons to press to execute moves, combos, and cancels, which after 35 minutes of constantly trying the second cancel in the tutorial, I had had enough, not to mention it really doesn't look that great as a whole. The graphics just seem to be lacking compared to console, which happens, but it's almost like the first Injustice had better graphic quality... almost. So All in All if you don't/aren't experiencing major issues (these are fairly major ones for me since it's my first time using keyboard to play), definitely give this game a try, otherwise, don't waste 60-80 dollars on it.

I really can't say that much, I constantly tried to play and got so bored I didn't finish the first mission. Character creation, whether you subscribe, buy, or are a free player is pretty fantastic, although being a subscribed player greatly adds to the character creation. As far as I've found out, you cannot unlock majority of the "premium" armors, hairs, and so on through normal game progression, which since I'm a huge Warframe fan, is a huge issue to me. Otherwise this game is a shoddy wanna be to City of Heroes. But most games that mimic City of Heroes falls utterly short of reaching the level of sheer awesome that game was. From me, this game for the short time I've played, get's a 5.5/10, namely due to so much being locked behind microtransactions and premium content locks and being so boring and drall to me I gave up before ever even finishing the tutorial.

Where to start... I have played every single RE game. I have seen it go from good, to better, to meh, back to good, and then down hill to cringe-worthy. This series is by far my favorite game series, one of my favorite worlds as well. After RE4 the franchise started it's downhill stroll with RE5. 5 was good, but just in terms of a good game, it certainly isn't more than an average RE game. 6 and on (Revelations 1 was decent) were just awful. I was really worried about this games success with OPRC, 6, Revelations 2, and a couple others, but RE-7 really has done a fantastic job. It's reminiscent of the original games with a modern look at the franchise like what RE-4 did. The story is intriguing, great suspense, and the character's are for the most part, interesting and well voiced. The gameplay is solid, the visuals are outstanding, and it still has those darned viral mutations! Love it. It does tie into the RE franchise story line, though you only need a bare basic knowledge at most to understand fully what is going on. It's a decent length too, one play-through got me 14 hours (this with some puzzle trouble though and dying a few times), so I'd have to say it's worth the buy if you enjoy the franchise or just like FPS-survival/horror style games.

Giving this a 9.5/10 (The .05 that is missing from a perfect is from what I feel is slightly over priced DLC's. although those are great as well).

I have nearly 10 hours, played every mode, and beat the story. Overall this game is well worth the try if you like digital card games. There are connectivity issues! I have been disconnected over 50 times already and only have around 10 hours. Before you claim "your internet sucks", it doesn't, and I have no connection issues playing ANY OTHER online game... except ARK:SE, but that game is it's own giant problem. It has randomness, but not nearly as stupid as hearthfire's level of it, and to me it definitely seems more balanced as a whole. It's fun, thoroughly explains how to play the game, and gives you step by step on everything from playing, to opening packs, to building new decks, and so on. There are definitely some issues in balance when it comes to some of the cards, my main example being a card that is 2 magicka and deals 10 damage to a creature. Over all... that is pretty unbalanced in the normal circumstances in any given match, although I can see why it might be that way. Another issue I have is in the solo arena (didn't try this again in the VS arena) where I chose battlemage, and upon seeing a bunch of dragon themed cards, built my deck to be more of a dragon deck. Guess what? No dragons. I have an issue with this because you make the decks in arena on the fly (meaning you don't make them prior to starting the arena mode) and it gives you 3 cards and you choose one, this continues until you have a 30 card deck. I don't like having cards that give a specific style of play, and not be able to make the deck to it because the main function and staple of the deck isn't available. I have a dragon deck outside of arena mode too, so it's just annoying to see "dragon themes" yet no dragons to finish that theme in arena. Those are my only real complaints about the game and the functionality of it, so with this all being said, the positives far outweigh the negatives, since they do a very good job with balancing, teach you how to play and do that very well, through the story you get decks, and packs and so on, and it you really want to spend real money for new cards, they aren't badly priced. Especially if you play TCG's, you know packs can be 4 bucks a piece. Not the case here.

I give it an 8.5/10

Okay, after having played over 60 hours and gone through all but the Buu's racial lines, I feel comfortable giving this game a review. My rating is with out playing the Buu's, so be aware of that!

Rating is 9/10

Pro's of this game FAR outweigh the cons.
-Great customization. From the start up to the unlockable's, this game might not by Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires with it's customization content, or the Sims with it's body creation, but hey, it's a DBZ game, that you create your own avatar, and it still has more than enough to satisfy a customization content stickler like myself.
-As I said, I've beaten the game as a saiyan, and gotten more than halfway through with all the other races except for Majin. To me this screams from the mountain tops about how much re-playing you can potentially do.
-Improved system from the first game, more content, more characters, and better combat (more fluid and transition friendly). This is a good thing, like Dragon Age 2, this improved the combat system, not nearly as drastically though as Dragon Age to Dragon Age 2.
-Raid styled missions. I do not remember these being there in the first game, and being a multi-mmo playing gamer, I do enjoy me a raid sometimes, so I have to give this as a positive. It adds another style of game mode for others to try out and enjoy, and they aren't that bad at all for the style of game DBXV2 is.

CONS of the game are much fewer.
-To me, the oh so slightly altered, and therefore unique, story is pretty identical to the first games, not enough so to argue it being a carbon copy (I am only referring to the interactions between your character and the unique villains causing all the disturbances).
-Lack of customization. This, though I praised it earlier, is still on the cons list. This game has a lot, but for me it's still not enough. I have over 1200 hours in the sims 3, so customization and such is huge for me to enjoy a game, and this one has enough to keep me happy, but not 100% satisfied.
-Character's I feel should've been added or in game are not. I felt the DLC lacked interesting characters, but they did add Hit, Black Goku, and a couple others.
-The tournament between uni's 6 and 7, where Hit first makes his appearence, isn't it's own full episode series in game. I really wanted to play the tournament out, to play and fight against all of the members, and so on, but they just had a little snippet.

Well, I greatly feel 9/10 is deserving for this game. It's 49.99 for an all around great fighting DB game.

This game. I love this game. Let's break it down shall we?

Pros:
-It's the best of the series (Opinion)
-Plenty of gameplay and replay
-Lot's of in game features, including creating a mission, a multiplayer map, close over 20 different nations/clans to choose from, unique units for each clan, different available technologies (all the same for every clan, but not all clans can research the same techs) to learn in game.
-Plethora of clans/nations
-Devs are still to this day, adding new content and updating the game.
-less then 50 bucks for the game and ALL DLC currently out for it
-Great modding community, awesome creations to upload to your game
-Played over 500 hours of this game
-Features online multiplayer... Love playing with random people? Love playing with friends? Go for it!
-Play a modded map with others even if they do not have the map themselves (It uploads it for them for the match).
CONS:
-The online multiplayer is not stable across all players, they have had plenty of issues with connectivity issues and the multiplayer just not running (I believe they have fixed this for the most part, so now it should work).
-Very old game
-Since it's old, the graphical quality isn't good and is very out dated (Still love the asthetic).
-for everything it's close to 50 bucks, which can be a downside depending on your priorities and funds and such. I had no issue with the DLC prices or base game price.
-Does have compatibility issues with modding community fairly frequently, but this is mostly due to updates to either the game or the mods you want might have broken something (Happens to me all the time when I edit my ESV Skyrim mods I've made(just NPCs so far))

END RESULTS:
+Fairly priced content
+Great amount of playtime and content
+Frequently updated to fix issues
+20 bucks for the base game ++++
+10 bucks per DLC (adds new campaigns and 4 new factions per DLC and a bunch of new maps and scenarios per pack)
-Total price for all content (base game with all DLC) is 50 bucks, which buying all at once could be an issue for some (But is not unfairly priced)
-has it's consistent bugs and glitches

The game gets from me a 9.7/10 overall. Worth every penny to me.

I keep seeing "Doesn't include the Boruto DLC" as the reason this isn't recommended by a lot of people. No where does it say the Boruto DLC is included. Should they have added it in? Maybe, but not all the DLC is out yet that is included in the season pass, therefore, the season pass isn't a good buy quite yet. Not because Boruto isn't included, but because not all the content has bee released. You still get a deal even at 20 bucks, but don't base your purchase on the Boruto DLC. Not all season passes will be a good buy though, and the content included might not be worth 20 bucks to you. Awesome, that doesn't mean it's not a deal. The time it takes to make even a single new reskinned costume in a video game alone is astounding (not all too difficult, but certainly time consuming) so the amount of work put into the DLC's included in this Season Pass makes the season pass worth 20 bucks. They could be charging 10 or 15 per DLC minimum, but they aren't, and you might get a 20+ dollar DLC with the pass in the future. It's always a gamble people. It's like buying a lottery ticket, you never know if you will have fun, win, or so on. It took EA within a year of Battlefront 2 to finish releasing all the other DLC they had promised at launch lol. So it's a gamble, and normally all season passes are worth 20 bucks considering the time and effort it takes to add into a game. I bought mine for 20 bucks, and I have enjoyed my time. So what Boruto isn't included in it. If that's all you care about, buy just boruto. It's only 20 bucks.
