I absolutely love designing new cool fortifications and bases. If you enjoyed They Are Billions then I'm pretty sure you'll love this. Can't wait to see what improvements and updates the devs will bring to this game. The blueprint system and being able to share blueprints across the steam workshop is neat too.

I've been really enjoying MoW2, and I honestly believe the game doesn't deserve it's "Mixed" review status currently. I see some reviewers saying the devs don't listen to feedback which just isn't true. I make feedback a while back on a version of the game last year here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfgCMDMWSGU and the devs implemented changes accordingly. For instance I mentioned aspects about the UI which they have now changed.

The game itself has a lot of content for launch too with many single-player missions which you can play co-op with friends alongside many competitive PVP modes which they have created in answer to the feedback they received so people can play the game how they like it.

I do agree with people's concerns however about the game being online only but the devs have said they are working to fix this in an upcoming patch.

I'm about 20 hours into my run and this is my first ever Owlcat game and I'm a huge fan of the Warhammer 40k universe.

I've been really enjoying the attention to detail on everything and I love to explore the maps and each characters lore. However even as a new player I'm definitely having difficulty learning the mechanics and such. I love how much depth there is with all the skills and such but a more in depth tutorial videos would be great at explaining all the things.

Also the voice acting is great but I wish more of the dialogue was voice acted. It's a hell of a lot of reading and as it's Warhammer 40k I don't mind it as much. Though I believe I would feel more immersed in the story if more scenes and dialogue moments were voice acted. Some scenes have no voice acting when they really should and it just makes those moments feel flat.

I imagine Owlcat probably doesn't have the funds like Baldur's Gate 3 to afford these actors but I could see many from the community who would love to do the roles for free and in my eyes it would add so much more value to the game. Hopefully this might be available with modding?

Absolutely loving the game! I've played up to mission 12 on the hardest difficulty and done a few PVP matches as the Nighthaunt so far. After 12 hours here are my take aways:

Pros:

+The voice acting, animations, graphics and the different units are all great too.
+The hardest difficulty setting is giving me a proper challenge.
+ I'm also pleasantly surprised by how impressive the cut scenes are too.
+Story
+Army Painter
+Customisable Profile
+Haven't seen hardly any bugs
+Ingame Leaderboards
+Conquest Mode
+Map Editor

Cons:

- Units feel too slow when moving around the map. (30% faster in multiplayer though)
- Not much blood/gore. (hopefully a patch for this)
- Lack of base building, feels like DoW2 with point building. Would have personally prefer a proper base with defences and difference tier structures etc...
-Some achievements are not registering
-No replay mode as of yet

Also don't forget on getting the custom merc for $6999 at the start of the game from the ingame browser. Massively helps.

Put 11 hrs in so far and very much enjoying it. Quite challenging too for experienced strategy gamers!

Played for about 50 hours so far and really enjoying it. I'd give it an 8/10 so far.

Pros:

- Graphics are good and the Grey Knights look and sound great.
- Interesting combinations of classes you can pull off with great abilities which make you think hard about what you want to do during a match.
- Lot's of different enemy types as well even if it's just a Nurgle focused.
- Some decent variety in the missions.
- Interesting story and characters.
- Challenging.

Cons:

- Some bugs here and there but not ground breaking.
- Maps get a bit repetitive after a while and the Morbus missions are incredibly repetitive and get tiresome after a while though still challenging.
- RNG events can be incredibly brutal.
- Some enemies types can shoot through walls and attack you even if they have no line of sight.

What would make this game even better:

- More factions to fight against
- Possible allies you can save or assist during missions or perhaps request assistance from.
- PVP multiplayer mode would be sick!
- Special units like a dreadnought would be cool.

One of my all-time favourite suvival city builders.

Pros

+Great gameplay

Cons

-Once you reach a certian stage the game becomes too easy and once you've built everything there is nothing more to do

Wish there were more buildings and such but other than that the game is a great as it currently is, anything more would be a bonus and I would happily pay for more content.

Driving to the front lines in our tanks all the while blaring out Panzerlied on the voice coms. Nothing beats the feeling.

Tried to kill all the bad guys early like an ultimate ninja and ended up causing a time paradox. 10/10 Would masscare for time paradox again.
