Tough to get a decent framerate out of it, and frankly the puzzles are too easy (even the challenge puzzles), but I had a nice time. Certainly they worked very hard to make this game the way it is, and I only wish I could play more.

Average combat experience is to run at a moderate pace in a straight line with no cover at a guy actively shooting at you. Of the 16 shots he fires he will connect exactly 0. Then left click 2 times and he's been killed instantly. Now you can take his gun that does about 1/4 of the damage per shot that a light punch does and fire 5 times at his 1 (one) ally and automatically throw the gun on the ground for some reason.

The game sets up an illusion of a sprawling cityscape that you have to traverse and find your way around when the reality is that there is really only ever one, extremely linear, correct path.

Your top speed is like a brisk walk. Jumping feels sluggish. The automatic ledge grab fails about 60% of the time. As long as you press lctrl before you land long falls do no damage, unless it's 1 inch beyond some arbitrary barrier in which case you die horribly and get to listen to some weird hearing-damaging sound effect.

Blows my mind that this game has a single positive review. Praise Christ.

When I say that The Looker is an improvement on this game in every conceivable way I am neither joking nor hyperbolizing. What a complete piece of trash. There are exactly 0 puzzles in this game. The whole thing is that you have to teach yourself these weird abstract rules for how to solve a lame maze. Nonsense. The worst puzzle game I've ever played. I can not say enough negative things about it. I strongly suspect that whomever is responsible for this garbage is clinically insane.

They worked hard on this one. Good for them.

What a game. If you liked Portal go ahead and give this a try.

DOOM Eternal is perhaps the best game.
