Unite Against Uplay

Uplay is a program that has caused many gamers several hours of grief. It is our goal here to either get Uplay to be taken down or improved upon to where it helps rather than hurt gamers.

We will pull together and become a united front to show Ubisoft that we are not thieves but a group of people who want to enjoy their games.

Your options will help shape the group and your efforts could in turn shape the face of how publishers treat gamers for decades to come.

I'm here tokenly as well, as the group's name and mission statement give me the creeps, but we've got a common goal - the removal of Uplay. All this uniting stuff, though, you can leave me out of. Collectivism, especially for its own sake, isn't my cup of tea. We'll never need it to coexist, or work toward common goals, or anything of the sort... but Uplay will invariably creep its way into more and more games until something changes, and its "success" will be met with imitators, if it should last much longer. We're far too far along this path as it is, and hopefully this group will do its part in preventing things from getting worse.

I agree. I don't have anything against UPlay personally. Just that Steam should sell other vendor DRM-free versions of the title.
