This is a group about shooting games. Shooting games? Yes. Shooting games. What kind of shooting games? 2D arcade shooting games. Common STGs (ShooTingGames) are: Gradius, R-Type, Raiden, Ikaruga, Dodonpachi, Touhou, etc, etc.

Still dunno what a shmup is? It's a shoot-'em-up. STILL don't know? That's what youtube is for, I guess.

Dodonpachi Saidaioujou gets a port in spring 2013. CAVE is working to get a licensing deal. I'm not holding my breath, but if it happens they want it to be simultaneous with the JPN version.
