Dodonpachi Saidaioujou gets a port in spring 2013. CAVE is working to get a licensing deal. I'm not holding my breath, but if it happens they want it to be simultaneous with the JPN version.

I think Jamestown is a pretty cool guy. eh kills martains and doesnt afraid of anything.

You should probably buy it if you like shmups.

As you may already know, there are now many ports of CAVE STGs available on the Xbox 360. A quick recap of some highlights:



Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 - Region free

Espgaluda 2 Black Label - Region free (standard edition only)

Ketsui Extra - Region locked, but rejoice! The sacred cow of shooting games is now available to you at the low low price of selling your domestic 360 for a Japanese one and buying the game.


Deathsmiles - Not yet released, but will be localized for North America!




Also of note, Guwange will be coming worldwide to XBLA. Yeah. I'm serious. Guwange.


The Deathsmiles II: Hell's Christmas port will not be region free, nor will any other CAVE port ever. Too bad.
