雖然漢曆年度還未換、西曆紀元年二〇二二則即終、而今年將再開『今年漢字』、及追加『今年成語』與『今年詩詞歌賦』活動。

於此敬請諸位有興趣者參與！
國不問、語言不問、任何人皆可參與。

『今年漢字』是何？

此活動依據『今年の漢字』。是日本「日本漢字能力檢定協會」自平成七年（西歷紀元年一九九五年）始、徵集日本國內以一漢字進行闡述「本年」活動。

此方法在日本首次進行後、南韓・中國大陸・台灣・以及數海外華人地區也依據成立同用意做法。也稱「年度漢字」。

『今年成語』是何？

此活動依據為『올해의四字成語』（올해의 사자성어）（年四字成語）。是南韓《敎授新聞》（교수신문）自西歷紀元年二〇〇一始、選擇代表南韓社會之四句成語。

Although the year is still a month or so from ending in the traditional Chinese calendar, with the year 2022 nearing a close, this year we will be relaunching the "Hantzh of the Year" event after a long hiatus, and in addition, "Chengyu of the Year" and "Shih, Tsh, Ge, and Fuh of the Year".

There are no limitations set by nationality or language, please feel free to join in if interested!

Hantzh of the Year (Chinese Character of the Year)

This event is based on the annual Chinese character (Hantzh/Kanji) selection done in Japan starting from the Seventh Year of Heisei (1995) called "Kotoshi no Kanji" (今年の漢字). The selection collects and chooses from submissions from all across Japan for a single Hantzh / Kanji that can summarise the experience of the year. This practice was later adopted by other Hantzh using areas, such as in South Korea, Mainland China, Taiwan and certain overseas Chinese communities.

Chengyu of the Year (Idioms of the Year)

This event is based on " (올해의四字成語 / 올해의 사자성어). An annual selection of Chinese four-character idioms or Chengyu to represent the status of South Korean society for the year, started in 2001 in South Korea by a newspaper called the "Kyosu Shinmun" (敎授新聞 / 교수신문)

Shih, Tsh, Ge, and Fuh of the Year (Songs and Poems of the Year)

This event is original, and follows the same theme of summarising the year, but in the form of Chinese song and poetry. Korean and Japanese forms (such as haiku), along with other languages and poetry traditions around the world are also allowed.
