Canadian Furries [CF]

This is a group for gaming furries whom are from Canada. Whether you are a permanent resident of the country or are a Canadian living elsewhere in the world, there is something here for everyone to enjoy! This group is primarily for furries, however those who like furries or support our often massive and heavily marginalised community are also welcome to join as well!

This group has two most triumphant rules:

2. PARTY ON, DUDES!

Hey guys,

First off, I'd like to thank everyone for joining this group - it means a lot to me!

Secondly, I'd like to apologise for not posting an announcement in such a long, long time -- a lot has happened over the last 7 years since the last post, so I thought I'd catch up with you guys by letting you in on a few things.

1. STILL NO DEDICATED SERVER
The first thing this group still hasn't gotten is a dedicated server - or a series of dedicated servers - for games. And thousands and thousands of games have since been released on Steam. I'm hoping that will change at some point, although I'm unsure when that'll be the case.

So what games will I include? All the Valve titles for one thing (Half-Life Deathmatch, Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, TF2, Left 4 Dead, Gmod, etc), of which will be put on what I will call the Valve Source Server.

Minecraft, though not a Steam game in itself, will also be included. But it'll be a vanilla server, mostly because the updates to 1.8 have also given us lots of new (and colourful!) blocks to play with. I don't plan on setting up a mod server at this time.

This is just a small taste of what other games will be put on the server. For now, I need to organise the funding for a server tower.

2. TINY GROUP
There aren't very many people in this group to gain some real ground swell, so I'm asking you guys to help get the word out to other Canadian furries on your friends list. A simple request, really.

3. GAMING ON OTHER CONSOLES
I don't just run this group on Steam -- I have also founded the Macro Furry Gamers group on Xbox Live, in the hopes of connecting with other folks and play games as a group - such as Forza Motorsport 5/6 or Horizon 3, Grand Theft Auto V, and more!

CF still needs Dedicated Servers!

Hey CF'ers!

I apologise for the major inconvenience about the current Dedicated Server that I promised would go to full fruition, but the short story is, the second laptop failed to meet the expectations of such, and therefore is declared no longer the dedicated server for the Canadian Furries.

Due to this, the group is now looking for anyone with a powerful set up system to run the Dedicated Servers for pretty much any and all Valve-release games on Steam. If you're able to help, it would be greatly aprpeciated. Simply contact me via Steam, and I'll let you in on the details.
