This group is for all wizards who are really damn good at the original Magicka. Many of you will probably know each other or have played together at some point, maybe already added each other on Steam a long time ago but forgot about it. I hope to bring everyone together with this group.

If you get invited, please only join if you really want to play Magicka regularly (around once a month) and don't mind receiving notifications occasionally.

Let's have good times with some high level (but friendly) PvP, crazy challenges and perhaps some goofing around in adventure mode a bit more often than just once or twice a year! ;)

Full migration to the Discord server

Hello all!

Our Steam group has been dormant for many months, if not years (I have lost track of time), while the Discord server has been thriving. The Discord server offers many more useful capabilties as well. Therefore I will now officially make Discord the place to be.

The Steam group will continue to exist and important events and announcements such as tournament related stuff will still be published here as well, but all the action is happening on Discord.

Inviting people to become group member

Can they keep up with or beat any of the following people in 1v1? If yes, then please invite them, if no, then do not invite them.
Dikharz, Auron Darkmoon, TaVeRiC, Netriak, DANTE, Sam Angel

Inviting people to the chatroom or the Discord

If they like playing Magicka 1 and it's foreseeable that they keep playing for a few months (even if it's just once a month) then feel free to invite them to the steam chatroom and the Discord server. I do not want to end up with 100 people in the chat and only 20 being active; if you invite someone, it's your responsibility to have them removed from the chatroom, if they're not interested anymore.

Preferred language

English. I've created a text and a voice channel in the Steam chatroom for other languages. (No, there won't be multiple channels for different languages because we're a small group)

Chatroom rules

There are different channels for different topics. Often the topics will overlap and sometimes it's impossible to not go offtopic in a channel, and that's okay. Just don't go crazy.

Lastly, please post in the introduction thread if you haven't done that yet.

Hello everyone. I will be taking a break for a month or two from Steam and Discord because sadly I can't afford to spend the time at the moment. I'm looking forward to throw some fireballs when I'm back though!

In the meantime, don't set the place on fire, alright?
