Report a translation problem
I checked our old files. We had the loading pics taken from a screenshot (.jpg) then edited them into a 8 Bit depth RGB .PNG-file with a sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile. That was just the default setting for PNGs provided by wichever programm i used. Probably Gimp 2.8. Then we converted them into .xnb files. No idea how we did that back then. :x I can tell you for sure that we used .xnb , tho.
Apart from that i guess you gotta put the .xnb file into the same folder as as the .lvl and .xml files for the fitting level. w!z may know more.
I was wondering if you knew how to get the game to recognize custom preview images for custom maps, similar to what you did with the versus mode map pack you and w!z@rD worked on.
I've spent hours downloading different programs necessary for converting images into xnb files.
I've tried bmp's, gif's, and png's at different bit-depths, but none of them are being recognized by the game once I've converted them.
I'd be very thankful for any assistance you might have to offer!
