A little filtering of games of all sizes, genres, and quality.

As a game collector and achievement hunter on Steam for many years, I've seen the changes on Valve's gaming platform not as an occasional update, but a large transition from one type of service to another. I've bought thousands of games over my time here and played quite a few of them, ranging from exceptional to horrible, for one reason or another. I've changed my gaming habits a bit over the years, and as a result, I've had a lot of issues actually deciding what to play.

This curator/group is a place where I can share games that I enjoyed playing to help those of you in the same situation I'm in, plenty of choices in your game library and on the store but no real way to make the list more manageable. There are no specific genres, game lengths, or visual quality limits on what I'll give a chance, and hopefully that'll give me a wide variety of games I can recommend to the rest of you.

Now, for anyone who wants to know how much I need to progress in a game before I make my recommendation (for full transparency), I either need to complete all of the available achievements, complete the full story, or (for longer games) play enough of the game to get a considerable idea of the content (which of course can vary from game to game). I don't idle for time or card drops (I prefer accurate time and don't care about trading cards), so my game time will actually be the amount of time I spent on the game.

I own over 8000 games on Steam with over 900 100% completions (with both values higher including api banned games). I'm the owner of the Removed Games Collectors Steam group, a place that provides information about games that are no longer available for sale on the Steam store, and I'm a moderator of both the popular steam trading group Trader's Guild and the achievement tracking site Astats.
