ABOUT Valiant Hearts: The Great War

"O valiant hearts who to your glory came
Through dust of conflict and through battle flame;
Tranquil you lie, your knightly virtue proved,
Your memory hallowed in the land you loved."
This rp is to recreate the horror and strugge that was world war one. It's extreme realistic and hai :3

Kafzberg report
7 september - 22 september
With few supplies and low ammo the garrison bravely stood against the polish brigade, it costed more than a hundred lives and we estimate around 400 enemy casualties. The polish coat of arms was captured during fight but given back during the cease fire, it was exchanged for the german POWs which included 2 german leutnants.

The german trenches were covered in bodies and obliterated by artillery after the massive assaults. The Hauptmann ordered each building and section of the city to be used as a stronghold. The Oberleutnant was asigned with the main plazza, to hold it at all costs.

The Polish Brigade pushed the germans back and forced them into a bloodshed, once the guards division was moved to take Kafzberg the germans were able to regain some ground and it were days of fights for simple streets with no strategic importance.

22 september - 1 october
After days of fight the guards advanced towards the plaza, artillery fire was pounding down german lines day and night. The Hauptmann was mostly absent leading rescue parties to save as many men in pockets as he could, the Oberleutnant was mentioned in his private report for the great bravery in holding the plazza and a statue of the german infantry was ordered to be built in the plazza they held.

On 23 september the Hungarian cavalry division broke the siege and managed to push the russians back, they crossed the river and head towards Kafzberg where a deserter informed the garrison was under heavy siege. Major-General Joseph Szilágyi ordered his men to rush towards the settlement. After a week of march they reliefed the exhausted garrison which has been transported to Budapest for rest.

Recommendations
Mostly went to the Austrian soldiers and hungarians, german troops are still awaiting the report to be carefully inspected by the german high command.
