The year is M42, the imperium has rebuilt itself from the ground up after hundreds of years of strife and war. The Emperor in a glorious battle that betook Terra itself, in the darkest hour, the emperor rose from his golden throne, taking up the mantle of Emperor once again and fought the daemons of Chaos back to the warp. His revival spurred a great surge of loyalty once again, the Emperor lead the finest Adeptus Astartes back through the galaxy, reclaiming worlds once thought lost, with the brave souls of his champions littering the galaxy he pushed the imperiums greatest
enemies back to the fringes of the Imperium of Man.

Our story begins in the Imperiums finest fleet of two cooperating Adeptus Astartes chapters, The Blood Ravens and the Ultramarines, a uneasy alliance but a needed one indeed, charged by the emperor with destroying the Tyranid threat in the Eastern Fringes, convening with the foul xenos Tau, conjoined the two races will wage war against the greatest Tyranid threat since Behemoth.
