Downside is debugging when the AI fails or server overload. A value to not rely too much on large service but instead create multiple simple ones

One thing is for sure, AI and energy companies will remain profitable. I did some search though, global unemployment projects to remain at ~5% per year for the next 5 years so not an issue in practise even if it adds unnecessary complexity.
