Very nice, I'll definitely be taking it out, I'm fine with it on the web but not in the Steam client itself.

Simple reason is that the inventory system has grown since it started in 2011 and has over 300 titles that uses it so it is popular to those that love to collect items or at least one tab for each, so that has one reason for the 25-50c for each one, but that is a lot cheaper than some that only have 1 item that is $20 and some others had $50 and even $100, because they know those hardcore collectors will pay for them.

I do not own all the puzzle games he made but I assume they all play the same in some way, I do own the ones that have item drops in-game and some others that have item inventory tabs that you have to buy only, list is in my steam item guide.

They are Steam inventory items, any game can use and make them if they wish.

Inventory items have many different uses depending on how the devs set them up.

In this case, these items can be abtained as ingame drops, buy them from the item store, trade or buy on the steam market. But as said, they can be used as showcase items but to give the dev a little extra money. But the assets flip games the person made are really not good and I would have passed them up if they did have some item drops.

I've seen them posted on mod profiles before as I don't go to the Dota 2 forums otherwise. It's sad and a waste of time trying to tarnish someone reputation or w/e he's trying to do with a fake account that look nothing like the ariginal one (I find complelty funny).

But grats I guess as some people are honered by this.

To be fair tho Boss you are not supposed to ingage with those type of people anyways, just report the post/user profile and try to move on, but I can understand how it is hard sometimes when you see a certain user keep doing what they are doing even when you report them multiple times.

I personally don't have any problems with them (yet), unlike some friends I know that got banned for no reason, later to get unbanned when they gave the report to a global mod to look into the matter. As from what I've seen so far and what I heard from others these people should not be put into the paid mod area and should be placed at a lower level to start with and move up the ranks, most of the global mods should have been asked to be paid mods as they have had around 10+ years of sevice, decent rep amoung the community and know what they are doing unlike some of the trigger happy paid mods have been.

I keep all my reports very simple to basic terms as posted above in OP if the report requires more I'll add it but most the time they don't.

Off-topic a bit, kinda sad community reports are tied together now instead of getting like multiple reports.

Well Valve will more than likely still have logs of what "display names" you use like anything else you do on Steam and I know the aliases get cleared after so many years (unsure how many tho).

There will all ways be a downside to new features and those that will abuse them, since most people don't have common sense when it comes to the most simple of things that they fall for with scammers I don't see this being any diffrent but shouldn't mean we can't have nice things.

I'm over the whole scamming thing since it's been a good what... 5 years since real scamming started on Steam, everyone should have at least a basic understanding how they work and those that are new need to use the search functions and ask questions before walking into something blindly.

(I do find this funny that 2 of my freinds had their account hijacked today and sent me the cliche phishing csgo scamming site message).

It is a well overdue feature to add but glad it's finally here, prob got tierd of all the requests to clear user aliases from Aevoa's guide. But I got mine cleared a few weeks ago.
