In this case, yes some of them also complain about Youtube and the way Google/Youtube shoved the accusations and fines over to the content holders. But overall it's about interpretation from FTC of outdated Law that was vague to start with.

Yes it's partially about advertisement income for the complaining youtubers. This interpretation would also apply to the advertisers after the FTC is done with Google, Youtube and their subscribers. No telling who's next, could be Steam, or:
Imagine "everything with animation" being seen as "targetting kids". With the precedent created at Youtube, that would aso apply to xrated Final Fantasy parodies at Xhamster and Pornhub, or Shadbase and DevianArt at their own websites and at Steam. What about all them nude mods gamers like to make and use for Skyrim, Sims, GTA and so many other games?

Will Steam, games, game-mods, (Steam)emoji's, wallpapers, browser-skins/themes, movies, advertisements & what-have-you survive? Or, will Steam (and everything else) in the USA have to follow like Steam for China?

This morning i still doubted if i should make this thread. On Max's profile an acc was reported and i felt the need to investigate a bit more. That acc. has been impersonating a Valve Admin, Steam mod and Dota 2 mod for exactly 1 year judging from the profile comments starting at the 2nd of april with Dota update comments.

This afternoon i saw a Promobot being reported and i investigated some more as well. The account was abused not only as fake-csgo-promobot but in the past also in their previous Hokkie/Wokkie-(see-my-profile) offensive. 1 random search handed me the profile of another corrupted acc with a promobot posting a little over a year ago (crude explanation, there's more to it). Hence this post with the "clicker-game"
