Yeah this is my problem, I have legit reason to invite people to groups (they ask me :P) without me wanting them as friends. So I guess i have to add them as friends, invite, remove them as friends... or as will more likely happen, I just wont bother :D

Nah, BossGalaga just linked me to this group in a comment on my profile so i could request admittance myself. Plenty of places on Steam to allert Ppl about groups. Thanks BossG!
