2. Extract the archive using 7zip, WinRAR, Bandizip or similar archive manager, to the install folder of the game, so the files contained in the archive resides besides the game executable.
3. Then just launch the game, and the mod should be loaded automatically.
I did exactly this and i cannot get it to work. The game crashes on startup (even the splash screen wont show). I'm running the uplay(boxed) not steam version. I've tried renaming the files from dxgi to d3d11 but that didnt help either.

i have a quick question, after installation do we have something to do in game or just put mod file in directory game folder it's all we have to do ?
There's a couple of different versions for different titles now and then 0.10 is currently also coming together as the next major version.

(0.10.0 and the slightly newer 0.10.0-mouse archive with fixes to mouse behavior.)
For that one you would need to rename SpecialK64.dll to dxgi.dll or dinput8.dll and then put in the game folder, don't rename the .pdb file and just place that as-is in the same folder. :)
So if i dowlnoad this https://github.com/Kaldaien/SpecialK/releases/tag/sk_odyssey it's already in version 0.10.0 or i have to download and install sk 0.10.0 + Resource Management Tune-Up ?
