Another 1000+ Reviews, Another Thread Reset

In less than a year, Guildmembers have shared over 1300 reviews with one another, reading, commenting and upvoting each other's critiques of games. Truly, you have all outdone yourselves! With such a large list, it's time to reset the thread!

Without further ado, head over to the new Share your Steam Review thread, read and upvote your fellow Guildmember's reviews, and share your own.

The old thread will remain in the main sub-forum for a while to allow people to catch up with their reading, before being moved to archive.

Discussed this summer over here, the Share your Steam Curator and Review Group thread will now be used to put a member's Curator or Group on the spotlight through a monthly announcement, starting in 2022. If you've already told your fellow Guildmembers about your curator a while ago, now's a good time to update your post, or delete it and post a brand new one. The featured curator or group will be picked randomly, while giving everyone a fair chance to have theirs selected.

So you've read that and thought "No s**t, Sherlock!". Yet believe it or not, some feathers had to be ruffled a short while ago when a Guildmember, Contributor and Moderator exposed some members as having used achievement cheats to display a fake playtime, a fake game progression, and basically posting reviews for games they hadn't actually played. The use of the achievement cheats were admitted in part, and the "reviewers" left of their own accord. If you're curious, you can see the events unfold in this thread.

Whether they just rewrote game descriptions into their own words or took the words of someone else as their own is up to speculations (the right place of which isn't here), we have decided to update the Guild Rules so that no one can claim they didn't know fake reviews weren't welcomed. That's right, we had to put it in writing.

I'd like to remind you that we have a private sub-forums where Guildmembers can give away extra Steam keys they have and won't be needing. Head over here to see what your members are giving away. Logan is also tracking giveaways for free-now-keep-forever promotions on Steam, so make sure to subscribe to his Games Giveaway Tracking thread. I (Cracktus Jack) will be cleaning up many of the old keys that have been sitting in my personal giveaway thread for a while, so if you want one or two for yourself, now's the time.
