Randal Howard "Rand" Paul (born January 7, 1963) is an American physician and politician from Kentucky. In office since 2011, Paul currently serves in the United States Senate as a member of the Republican Party. He is also a trained ophthalmologist, and is the middle son of former U.S. Representative and physician Ron Paul of Texas.

About his 2016 run:

Rand Paul is running for President of The United States of America. He is a highly educated man, he went to Duke university (the 8th best college in the United States) and has alot of experience in politics. He plans to return liberty to the people, expanding internet privacy and returning liberty back to the people. He plans to do a 700 billion doller tax cut, but he will keep a strong military, and will help fix this nation broken econmic status and massive debt. He would also audit the Fed to help fix the nations broken monitary system to help stabilize Americas economy.
