Welcome gamers!

Welcome to the Pixel 4x29 Steam group!

We strive to that little neighborhood of people where everyone knows each other by name, except online and with video games! Actually that’s exactly how we began! We originally started as a couple of kids who lived in the same neighborhood and wanted to start a Minecraft server. We've now grown to an online community of people from all over the world, who skype and play games with each other on a regular basis. Unlike many places on the internet, Pixel 4x29 holds to certain morals.

We play all kinds of games, and periodically run servers for them. To see the types of games we play, click on the curators tab. If you would like to join this small community, you must be invited by a current "veteran" member, or moderator. Don't be afraid to ask! Do make sure that you read the rules however which are located in the discussions tab.

Ephesians 4:29 - Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

We're packing up and moving to Discord!

Well, Matt (MM4005) has shown to us the wonders of this new program called Discord and why it is so much better than skype, so we've decided to move! Heres why:

Discord has an easy voice chat system, that you can leave and join with no issue. There is no ringing, or even a call host, so you can come and go when you please, even if nobody is on the call.
Discord runs much more smoothly than skype, and won't take up as much CPU
Matt has already installed an Anti-swear bot, which will be very nice in case Tied gets mad.
The majority of you seem to want the switch
Skype has been giving us way too many issues.

There is a downside, and that is no video or screen sharing, but we will live, and that feature is most likely coming to Discord in the future. There are load more features with Discord that are really nice, but I won't discuess them here.
