Portal 2 Mutual Testing of Community Test Chambers

Enjoy making and/or reviewing Portal 2 Community Test Chambers? This group is intended for players who are willing to test, rate and provide constructive criticism for each others efforts in map creation
All that's asked is that if you submit maps to be tested by other members you also be willing to return the favour for them and to provide honest and useful feedback whenever possible

This group isn't intended to just uprate all of our members maps, it's to give honest opinions and to help us all to improve on making and advertising our maps so that the Portal 2 gaming community as a whole can continue to benefit from a large pool of fun, creative and well designed chambers for us all to enjoy
We've probably all noticed that getting your maps noticed can be difficult especially since the Workshop defaults to listing the top rated maps rather than the newest and fewer players are interested in testing the chambers which have not received enough votes to have a listed rating yet. I hope that this group will offer a good solution

We've got a nice start to the group, several testing threads running and some new members. Steam regulations require me to warn you that this group... is looking pretty good. Everyone's favourite evil AI has even sent a personal greeting:

I will say, though, that since you went to all the trouble of joining this group, you must really, really love to test. I love it too. There's just two small things we need to take care of first. Read the guidelines and make your personal testing thread
No tricks. This potato only generates 1.1 volts of electricity. I literally do not have the energy to lie to you. Even if I am lying, what do you have to lose? You're going to test either way

Group is up and running and has people. There's some threads in the discussion section about the current plans for how to make this work and everything is in place for us to start helping eachother out

Don't be afraid to invite friends who'd be interested in the group either, the more members we get the more different perspectives we can get on our works and the more variety we can get in the maps to test

Most importantly of all, have fun!

I love testing maps too ^-^ I finished editing my two test chambers and I'm "hungry for more test chambers" too. This is a great group and I wish you all the best of luck, have fun and merry christmas! Or whatever you celebrate ;)
