Crystal Tears is highly adaptable hive mind driven, prion based pathogen.
Originally created by The Crystal as a attempt to create quick and efficient way to fix biological tissue without need of any medical attention. By collecting any subspace matter (mainly black matter) from surroundings of hosts body, Crystal Tears is able to make crystal like structures that are be capable of replacing almost any function of previously destroyed tissue and reconnect these structures to other still living tissue around it, completely fixing and negating effect of any damage regardless of severity, with only one exception.
Veins, muscles, even whole organs would be replaced by these structures, but nervous system needed to be preserved as The Crystal didn't wanted to damage memory or behavior of host and instead made Crystal Tears to prioritize protection around nervous system instead of it itself. If host creature doesn't have nervous system or its biology is somewhat exotic Crystal Tears will prioritize an organ witch harbors creatures conciseness. This means that if any damage occurs anywhere in the body Crystal Tears will prevent host from getting killed or terminally injured but will not prevent host from feeling pain.

This effect sometimes felt much more intense than normally would witch could lead in extreme cases to shock and loss of consciousness. Over time body will repair itself but more the body is damaged the more problematic is to create original biological tissue witch can lead to long term pain in affected area. This can be counteracted with external sources via injection of necessary nutrients and pain reducing medication to affected area. This symptom made Crystal Tears hard to weaponize witch made it more favorable for The Crystal as he didn't create this pathogen with intend of harming others.
Upon infection Crystal Tears weakens the hosts immune system to protect host from allergic reaction witch can result in nausea, headache and increased illness susceptibility. In later stages of infection immune system gets completely suppressed and replaced by Crystal Tears own biological protective mechanisms witch not only protect the host from biological threats but also eliminate genetic diseases such as asthma or haemophilia and prevents cells from becoming cancerous. This process is achieved thanks Crystal Tears ability to precisely modify genome and cells.
