Bulk exported actions are affected by each other
The title is a bit confusing, but here's the thing. I've imported a bunch of animations into blender as actions. Some of them move around, some of them are simple idles. When I bulk export these animations they get slightly affected by each other. Here's an example.

Let's say we have three animations (as actions):
  • idle
  • walk_forward
  • prone_idle

"idle" is happening at 0 0 0, "walk_forward" starts at 0 0 0 and ends at 0 0 100, "prone_idle" happens at 0 0 0. When I bulk export them through Source Tools, "walk_forward" affects "prone_idle" so because "walk_forward" ends at 0 0 100, "prone_idle" starts at the same point.

It probably sounds very confusing, so here's a bunch of gifs:
Idle in Blender - https://www.dropbox.com/s/gaxqc3tlm0kn2yi/castro_knife_idle.gif?dl=0
Moving in Blender - https://www.dropbox.com/s/o9l7q2jta416abj/castro_knife_run.gif?dl=0
Next idle in Blender - https://www.dropbox.com/s/nt2w7tydtc8v3ok/castro_knife_prone.gif?dl=0

Exported and compiled idle - https://www.dropbox.com/s/e0n8h4xacodisr9/castro_knife_idle_hlmv.gif?dl=0
Moving in model viewer - https://www.dropbox.com/s/h4egf11jx7wfx01/castro_knife_run_hlmv.gif?dl=0
Next idle in model viewer - https://www.dropbox.com/s/aod154gkla26i4y/castro_knife_prone_hlmv.gif?dl=0

As you can see prone animation has moved in space and now happens exactly where run animation ends. And yes I've checked the exported .smd file and it's definitely not a problem with .qc.

It does not happen if I import and export animations one by one and I'd probably do that, but I've got a shipload of animations I need to process so that isn't an option. Is there a way to fix this or am I doing something wrong?

Apologies if this topic was brought up already but I've found nothing about this problem. I can upload .blend file as well as .qc if needed.

That's the sort of thing which may well be happening. I'll take a look when I'm next able.

Apologies for bumping, but did you have any chance to look at this issue?

Not yet, I have a reminder to look at it soon though.

I've finally managed to look into this. I've made my own scene which imitates the motions of your screenshots in a very simple manner and everything exports correctly.

Can you upload your blend file for me?[pasteall.org] There may be a complication I don't currently know about.

Basically I have an action filter set to * so it exports all of the actions in the scene to .smd's. I actually haven't tried exporting to dmx.

I've fixed it and uploaded a new version for Blender 2.79[steamreview.org]. To avoid confusion I won't mention this on the site until Blender 2.80 is out.

Yes, it works now. Thank you very much, man!
