3.3.1 Released
General
  • Fixed incorrect export format and engine detection after reloading Python scripts in Blender (e.g. following an add-on update)
  • Fixed the Armature Properties panel not appearing when the armature is itself selected
  • Fixed DmElements without names being assigned the name "None"

Importer
  • Fixed importing DMX animations which include empty meshes for each bone

Exporter
  • Fixed the option to export an animation on its own not appearing in the export menu

  • Updated to the Blender 4.1 API. Older versions of Blender are no longer supported.
  • Counter-Strike 2 and No More Room In Hell are now recognised engine branches.

Would be cool if you could set the "Engine Path" in the Add-on settings and dont have to set it every time

Need some help, getting .py errors when I try to export. Have not been able to find a tutorial/instructions for exporting a model to sfm. On blender version 4.1.1.

I think I am having trouble importing a character model I made into SFM and as a PM + NPC for GMod, yes it does have 18-19 bodygroups and has a lot of shape keys.

@talesyoung Blender Source Tools can export it's model into a format that any source 1 game can recognize. After that, it's the game's executable that "imports" it into the game. You basically go Blender > SMD (Blender Source Tools) > Game Asset (studiomdl,exe).
