And so we've come to this. The Knights of the Holy Flail, while waging war on the plains of their fathers, found themselves outmatch by heavy horse. Needing an advantage, they sought out the most deadly of mercenary bands, the Band of the Flying Spear. Trained marksmen all, they hurled 3 foot harpoons through the air with abandon, felling horse and man alike, allowing The Brotherhood of the Holy Flail to regroup and route their enemies. The battle won, and gold exchanged, the Band of the Flying Spear once again moved on, searching for more members, more wealth, and more reknown.
