ABOUT Dota 2 Tournament Players

READ ALL PLEASE

ATTENTION: all players are set, we have 16 teams and 1 caster set up for this, no more inviting of your friends or team members, I have everything set up and if we need a player to replace someone I will inform those with team members, thank you all I will begin bracketing shortly

Current Prize Pool:
Over 15 dollars in dota 2 items and sets.

Rules and info for the tournament:
1. The tournament begins on 3/23/15
2. you must add all the people on your team
3. practice is not mandatory but try to play some matches with your team
4. a full bracket and schedule will be posted shortly
5. make sure you have a team name and logo messaged to me and confirmed by me
6. no causing trouble with your group this is a friendly community
7. the tournament is captains mode
8. each team will be assigned a day to play a match against another team, the time of the game will be determined between the two teams playing, failure to determine a time that works for both teams will result in me determining it.
9. the tournament will be in best of 1, best of 3 and best of 5 style play.
10. you are welcome to record your footage and post it on youtube or twitch, however, no livestreaming during a game, and also no inviting people to spectate the games.
11. all games will be played on whichever location the two teams agree upon, this means that if for example my team (US EAST) plays with a british team, the two teams will have to agree on the server.
12. failure to agree on a server will result in a coin toss
13. if you have a player you know will not be playing on your team, message me so I can provide you a standin from another team for that game.

Possible prize pools?:
1. at this point there is no money just satisfaction
2. if people donate to this cause there could at some point be, however, this is unlikely to happen.
3. Donate items to me by sending them in gift wrap, they must be tradeable not marketable

How to get started:
1. if you joined this group and read this you are just about done...
2. when does the tournament start? Tournament starts this monday at midnight or for some (US west) sunday 9 PM
3. can I invite my other player? No, the teams are already set, he can play standin for you if you talk to me but that would require another one of your players being absent for a match.
4. why should I even play this thing? because it's awesome and it has dota in it.... do it for the arteezzzes
5. What if I cannot be at a game? LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
6. How will the tournament structured? wait for the bracket and schedule it will have all the details.

Let Round 2 Begin

Well, it brings me pleasure to say that round 1 is successfully over. 2 games resulted in forfeit and 2 resulted in games, Broad elements took a forfeit from plutonium reveries, followed by the Dota Zone taking a 2-1 victory over Tiny Rock. From there VCA swept Top Hatters 2-0 and Infinite Abyss forfeited to Purple Wyverns resulting in a 2-0 for them.

With that being said we now move on to the real matches that I have been waiting for, the top 8! All the teams who have advanced to this stage means serious business and have demonstrated that they have what it takes to win this tournament, however, only one truly can.

So now, it brings me pleasure to announce the top 8 teams and who they will play this upcoming weekend!:

Battleboyz (4) vs. The Dota Zone (5)
Ownmega (2) vs. Void Concept Art (7)
Kings of The Hills (3) vs. Purple Wyverns (6)

These games will determine who receives top 4 status! Meaning the 4 winning teams from these matches get free tickets to season 2 of ArmadaClash (an actual formal joindota Amateur tournament) The games will be held this weekend and this upcoming week and some may or may not be streamed on my twitch. I will personally manage all teams play times and dates in a few hours but for now if your name is listed above just know you have earned this spot and I look forward to seeing your team play (unless you are The Armada, those bois are a bunch of skrubs). If your name is not listed above, unfortunately it is end of the line, I enjoyed your participation and you all are all welcome back in season 2 of The ArmadaClash.
