Background and info:
We reported a broken achievement to the LOGistICAL developer "sacada" that broke when Australia and New Zealand were separated into different modules. A previously available location was deleted, so an achievement for fixing a road there was broken.
Now, just a few hours after reporting, it was removed and a new one added. If you completed the game or the New Zealand Module earlier, please just load the New Zealand (NZ) module and drive a truck to Rotorua to receive the achievement and (if you had it before) your 100 percent again.
I was not personally involved in the report, other than suggesting to the OP in the thread he informs the developer. I hoped the developer would rename it, but he chose to delete it and add a new one, so unfortunately you will need to follow the guide above to receive it.

We will delete the old achievement on AStats soon, as the developer has deleted it from Steam. Please note that due to AStats server caching it might take a while to correctly display the updated achievement count to everyone afterwards. I will inform a moderator when I get hold of one, as it is not in my senior editor powers to delete achievements (I only can mark them as broken - like here - or fixed).

Apologies to everyone who doesn't have the game for the announcement, but as some people will lose their 100 percent, I decided to tell them how to get it back quickly. Those unaffected can ignore the announcement.

It's been a while for an official update with new additions and changes in staff. Thank you for being a member with astats. We figured we would give an update on what's going on behind the scenes.


Appeals have been handled a bit quicker than before, and we had some that even dated back to late 2018! Currently those appeals that date back to months before are being handled. You should have a response by now in the Appeals in Progress/New Appeals section of the forums. If you were waiting for a response, it's best to check that out now.


We're taking another look at rules that affect fixes for games (see below) and crazy-ass achievements that are created by troll developers. While we can't discuss directly which ones we're talking about, chances are they are the ones that affect you from getting 100% in that game and are nearly impossible to get unless the stars align in your favor. Just be on the lookout. It may not happen in a couple of months, but just keep an eye on it.


As stated, some of the people (mostly Leeson the coding god), have been developing fixes for games no longer supported by the original developers. The intent of the fixes are to unlock achievements the normal way (i.e. Play Normal Mode, Jump one time, get caught 1 more time). To give a better example, remember that "insert imaginary game here" where you have to kill 500 zombies, but you already did and the achievement didn't unlock? Chances are there is a fix for that. However, we are still marking those achievements as broken. While these game fixes are approved by Astats, they may not be approved on other sites, so please review those rules on the other sites if you are concerned.


Long overdue and probably the last thing we may look at is the redesigning of the user profiles. Most people may feel it's time for a new layout...however, some people like the simple layout or just so used to the layout that we may have to leave it alone (which of course will happen for a really long time), or make small changes to transition.

There is a Modder achievement, which I think is linked to a contest where you must create an unit for the game and have the chance to win some games and a 20 dollar gift card.

There is a guide available for modding. You must create essentially three files - two graphics and one how the unit works.

So, I hope you get the achievement even if you don't win in the contest.

As some of you will already know, the servers for the Robot Entertainment games "Hero Academy", "Hero Academy 2" and the F2P online "Orcs Must Die! Unchained" will shutdown on 8 April 2019.

If you want to get the achievements, make sure to boost them (in the "Hero Academy" games) soon.

I don't think getting all achievements in the other game is possible in the remaining time, but I didn't play it for more than a few minutes.


I would also still need someone to boost the final achievements with me, so hit the forum (I created and pinned two new threads, they will be unpinned after the servers close) or the comments here and find someone to boost with.

The entire boosting for Hero Academy will take quite some time because of the 50 wins per faction. Sadly some require DLC which is no longer buyable. I can't speak for Hero Academy 2 or OMD! Unchained.

For the win achievements in HA1, it seems like every player must have finished two full turns (i.e. 2x his 5 moves per turn) before one side can resign. Keep that in mind to have all games counting on Steam.


(EDIT: For some reason the announement does not seem to pop up in the Steam overlay, so spread the word among your friends!)

EDIT: Correct date of shutdown is 8 April, not 16 April. Thanks for pointing this out to RVK250 in the comments.

EDIT2: According to the comments, only Hero Academy 1 can be boosted in the remaining time realistically. So the other thread will be deleted. If you want to boost Hero Academy 2, you can feel free to make an own thread or comment here.

With 2019 starting soon (it already begun in some regions), I would like to remind our group members that there is an achievement calendar available at:

It shows you the achievements tied to a specific date or set of dates, for example telling you about the Storyteller achievement in Batman Arkham City GOTY for which you can get 1 of the 12 dates tomorrow (on 1 January 2019, today in some timezones). It took me a year to get but was great when it was finally done.
Another example is a New Year achievement in the game Forestation, running from 31 December 2018 to 3 January 2019.

From what I see, the sorting by Event Start and Event End does not work correctly, sadly.

Note that for some achievements (usually in non-online games), there are other methods to get timed achievements which however are not recommended as they might damage your system and may count as cheating, leading to them not counting on AStats.

It is recommended to either check the site regularly or write down / copy the achievements you plan to get this year. A snapshot can be saved from almost every browser by saving the website as HTML for offline use, but it might be necessary to make multiple such snapshots, once for each page. There are currently 104 dates in the calendar and 100 dates per page.

Please feel free to for example use the forums to schedule multiplayer achievements that have to be achieved during a certain period of time, or visit the Group chat to find helpers. Of course you can also invite fellow achievement hunters and other players in your friend list, try the Discord, or whatever other ideas you have.
