That "new tech" don't exist yet, and we don't know where it will come from. The Paris Agreement is a small test for each members to reduce carbon pollution, by pulling out, you're signalling it's not a priority. I don't understand what you're trying to say with the third sentence here.

Carbon emission fines etc are easy to absorb for larger companies so they often push for them knowing that it will force smaller companies out.Meanwhile actual enviromental issues crop up from minning/oil transport/manufactoring and they get ignored becus of the same corruption.

Thats not even touching countries that are industrilizing or growing rapidly and dont care.They wont care and are massive polluters.Its economicaly prefrable to do so and until that changes nothing else will.

At best your handicaping the only pepople who care and can solve the issue.Thats not even going into the geopoltical power that can be gained from such agreements further posioning the pot as powers use this as just another tool to via for dominance.

In short its disingenuous or foolishly idealistic and it will be used for disingenuous reasons.

Theres litteral to no hope of solving the issue without new tech becus of pepoples natures.
Even if that wasnt a factor its likely at a point where its too late and/or the
needed changes would be regressing to a pre-industrial level.

Thats so unlikely as to not even be a consideration. US is about as likely to pick a fight even on trade with Britain as martians are to invade.

Heck europe imploding is more realistic of an economic/poltical threat to Britain, and scarily likely.

Protectionism ultimately hurts all parties involved, what if the US government decided to put a tax on UK exports to the US to "protect American jobs"?

We're an island nation, we're an lot more vulnerable to climate change than most other countries in Europe. The US pulling out of the Paris Agreement doesn't bode well.

That being said I would prefer that a more conservationist posistion was experessed myself.

Its also again unlikely anything would be aimed at britian as its not a competor in the areas these are concerned with and US special relationship with them.Its much more likely that Britain would place some sort of "name only" measure on the US becus "muh sygonee" or some other social issue like migrants.

Its a perfect illustration, in the old scooby doo cartoon the "villian" was often never one of the suspects and then magicaly had a hand in everthing despite varrying degrees of evidence too other wise(all of which was invaldated at the end becus suprise!).

But I will at least say that trailers are usualy "dumb down" and lie so theres a chance it wont be terrible (not a good one).Also seems to be differing radicaly from the source material (thought lets be fair every interpretation of the major has been fairly diffrent).

The internap is comming into maturity + global trends+ these various issues cant be pushed off much longer.

I have no doubt that more poltical "revolts" will come about particularly in europe which is dangerously close to becoming a powder keg.

The games plot is an almost freudian set of "hot topic" talking points for such pepople.From the victimization and abuse to its cynical views on the "hero" or "masculinity".Its "moral" topcis couldnt be more on the noes as anything other then "fairness" can never be a vaule.

Heck even the "messy" "bad intentionaly" art style reeks of the same wellspring of ideology in combination with everthing else.

Going to guess to that the creator of tumblrtale isnt much diffrent.I know far flung guess that a game emphasising sympathinzing with enemies staring a non gendered protagonist might be similar ideologically.
