You know. I figured for you guys it would suck for sure. Because you only get matched with nearby players, and if there isn't enough. GG, matchmaking would never happen I think. That's why bringing back the old pubs while also leaving this as an option would be nice for everyone I think.



Only worries is that no one will play casual matchmaking due to slow waits for games to start versus instant joining. Which is something that really needs to be worked upon.

I like it overall, like matchmaking, I like the balance changes. Not everything got the nerfs they deserved, and not everything got the buffs they deserve, but I'm still content with what they changed.


The disgaea promotional items are awesome, very awesome. And due to them removing pubs it might revitalize community servers too, something I wouldn't mind.

I honestly thought they were gonna keep pubs but also add casual matchmaking. lol


That would have been the cool thing to do. But to be honest I'm also okay with how things are now as well.

Early matches tend to be a little one sided due to people of all skill levels not being balanced out. Games shouldn't be too short once the skill level gets evened out.



I'm rather enjoying this update. Only gripe is I wish I could toggle the ability to join a match currently running. Because every time I join a match currently running it's a one sided stompfest.

Valve always gives into demand, but don't expect them to fix it that quickly. Knowing them they'll probably remove casual matchmaking before I get a chance to try it and I'll be pissed.

I almost feel like it was double overkill, which Valve has a tendacy to do. I understand killing building rate a bit, or giving mediguns it's traits to even the playing ground, but seems ambitious to do both at once. Still the medigun is unique, quick heals for your team is not to be overlooked.

I'm curious, more so how people outside of america feel about it. Feels odd that my entire life I've hardly seen the word used and when I did start seeing it, communist was thrown around as an insult. Partly because I couldn't relate any hate to it, I don't think communism works in practice but I don't mind the heart of the idea. Using it as an insult just never clicked with me.


I was wondering if this was a world wide view, that communism is universally hated by those who aren't communists. I know most americans hate communism and communists, canadians probably have mixed opinions on it such as myself.

I've seen a few people who dare to make such a bold statement as well. In pubs it's not entirely useless, it's just under the chaotic environment and random crits the uber can be denied, so I could see where they're coming from.

Huh, that doesn't sound like tf2 comp at all. I like the diversity you see in 6s. Everyone deviates from it's meta. Well, the losers do anyways.
