I guess I am a simple person
- this would be a process of some time like years mind.
1. "ever happen in your life" - like... ever, in the entire span of it, or right in this moment?
2. What do you mean by "could" as theoretical physics sort of "could", or just what's feasible?
Theoretically, the best thing that could probably happen in my life is if I'd gotten a manual / guide book from my future self as a child (by about age 6) about the dos and do nots and unexpected pitfalls and convergent outcomes.
Less theoretically, the best thing that could happen in the years ahead of me is technology & service availability to improve my health and life-span significantly, by oh... idk... maybe a few thousand years...
Feasibly, without projecting societal improvements that might not happen...
Well,
- Unrealistically, I somehow am given a rather nice house, somewhere far away from where I live now but would like to move to, with my own workshop, half a million dollars (don't really need a million, tbh), where I quickly meet the significant other of my dreams and just live well.
- Realistically in the future : I meet a significant other that fits what I'm looking for and is well off enough that I can move in with her.
- Theoretically realistically right now : An old friend that I don't have issues with, shows up at my door unexpectedly and offers to take me to some kind of social event where I might meet new people and have a good time. (But that's not going to happen. Such surprises don't happen.)
- Semi-realistically right now : I finish my to-do list, and somehow have sudden bursts of inspiration that cause me to write down the exact right things and register the exact right accounts so that tomorrow my dreams don't have to stay dreams. But this requires mental insights that I just don't have right now.
- Still not quite realistic enough : I find one of my two misplaced harmonicas and actually make some progress learning it.
- Realistically : I finish my to-do list for the day with a few extra minor accomplishments, have a nice chat with someone, 1 small serendipitous thing happens, I make 1 small change to my life that somehow improves the course of my entire future, I go to bed not feeling miserable and actually enjoy a video game for a change.
...at least that's just what I can think of. Perhaps more accurately, it would be something I wouldn't even consider that just suddenly appears.
