Aren't you questioning this by now? Or at least see why I'm interested in questioning it.
Just something to consider at least. I personally don't think the point is to save your US tax payers money, rather redirecting it.
For example: Did you know Trump's showing up to the superbowl costed US tax payers $18 million and he left soon after the half-time show, as that "hinted" about his own actions. There's a lot of messaging in that performance as well. Then Elon Musk was meant to spend $40 millions upon ads spewing his disinformation reasons for justifying DOGE, but never did. Instead it was Kanye West, who spent $8 million on a random ad for his teeth, which lead to his website, in which he had removed all his merch for sale and put up a single white shirt with a Nazi swastika upon. Suggesting something to MAWA.
